Perfect Beach Getaway for Our Family of Eight 🌊🏡

We had a wonderful stay at this rental home in Holden Beach! The house was well-stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to beach gear—which made settling in super easy. Its location was ideal, just a short stroll to beach access, so we could come and go as we pleased. The space was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged to fit our group of eight perfectly. Everyone—from grandparents to grandkids—was happy and relaxed. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would absolutely recommend to families looking for a hassle-free beach vacation!

The home we rented—Ohana Place—was fabulous. It was literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. Plus, restaurants and shops were close by. We took tons of things but honestly we could have gotten by with packing much lighter. The house had towels(even beach towels) and linens, a stocked kitchen, a grill will a full propane tank and beach chairs/buckets/shovels, etc. The host was quick to respond and the house itself was well-maintained and super cute. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this place to anyone…it’s a 10/10.:)

Location of this house was absolutely perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach! Everything you need was also included, and the host was super nice and accommodating!! Place was very nice and perfect for a quick weekend getaway.

Spring Break Vacy

Overall a great stay at the Ohana house! The house was so nice and cozy with a beach access within about 50 yards. We had plenty of parking and plenty of places to sleep. Kitchen was well stocked as we cooked some fresh fish from the market. Bedrooms were nice and roomy and the beds were comfy. Bathrooms were shared between rooms and each room had a TV. We appreciated the communication during the whole visit as well.

Holden Beach vacation

This was a great house for our family gathering. We particularly enjoyed the big dining table so we could all sit together. Any problems or concerns were quickly responded to. The location was close to the beach and we so enjoyed the front porch and watching the pelicans on their daily flights over the houses. The house was clean and ready for occupancy. Grocery store was convenient and access to fresh seafood and vegetables was down the road from the grocery. I would definitely recommend Ohanna Place to families!

Well Appointed Stay for Large Groups

Effective use of modest space that easily accommodates large groups - designed for ease of socializing! Great access to laundry, games, and beach supplies. Beach a bit rocky/shelly on our visit. Bring supplies to last beyond starter kit provided. Bedding quite firm with the exception of one king bed.

Beautiful Holden Beach Home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ohana Place. It is beautifully decorated, has comfy beds, and the common spaces were perfect for our family reunion. Loved the outdoor shower and the covered front deck, a great place to enjoy the ocean view and cool breezes! Access to the beach is easy via a public access path across the street and down a few homes. The kitchen is well-stocked, and towels/beach chairs were abundant. Communication with Elizabeth was very easy and pleasant. We will be back!

Holiday in Holden

Beautiful beach home, and the owner has thought of everything!! Our family loved this home and the easy access to the beach was so perfect. Having beach chairs and toys was so nice. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the outdoor shower. It was perfect for our family. Communication with the owner was easy and she checked on us to make sure everything was just right.

The Ohana Place

We just spent THE most breathtaking weekend in Holden. Perfect weather (even in the rain) ! Our hosts were amazing and the amenities stellar. Everything was thought thought of A close walk to the beach, friendly neighbors, bike paths and ice cream shops galore!! The stretch of beach is a shell collectors paradise and the water perfect temperature. I Will return soon! Thank you Elizabeth and Eric for your hospitality ❤️❤️

Better than I could have imagined.

This place is so amazing. It’s a few steps to the beach. You can watch the waves coming in from the porch and living room windows. This home was nicely decorated and so clean. The dining room table was wonderful for games. Will stay here again in the future.

Ample Accommodations and Clear Communication

This home was in a great location for an easy walk to the beach. It was well stocked with kitchen amenities for all of our cooking needs as well as ample dining and hang out spaces. The cleanliness and excellent communication with the property manager definitely set it apart.

Was a great place!

I just stayed at this beautiful home! The lady found us bikes to rent supper easy. They drop off and pickup right at the house. Easy access to beach. Also great view in front and back porch. Showers were amazing great pressure. I Hurd toilet was broke and when I arrived it was already fixed. She is on her property 100% of the time. If have questions always got an answer right away. Elizabeth also gives welcome guest for every resident. Great washer and dryer. Will be back soon💕

Absolutely perfect!

We loved this house! The location was excellent!! Super easy 2 min walk to the beach and the layout was perfect for our party of 7. The outdoor shower was a big hit with our teens. The well stocked supply room with beach chairs and just about everything you needed for a fun day at the beach saved us when we forgot a couple of chairs from home. I would not hesitate to come back!

Great place to be a beach bum with family! The large dining room table was perfect for family, meals, and game nights on rainy evenings. Well, stocked with dishes and beach, toys, etc.… Just need to pack your clothes and go! The only change I would make is the platform, the washer and dryer sits on. It’s pretty narrow, and I almost fell off a few times. Other than that, it’s perfection!

Holden Beach

Good location for accessing the beach and exploring the Shallotte and local beach areas. Favorite restaurants included Castaways, Inlet View and Purple Onion. Played golf at local Lockwood Folly, which was a good value, but would probably choose a different golf course next time. Host promptly responded to all inquiries, and any small issues were either addressed or noted to be addressed for future guests. The house featured an extra large dining area, which was nice for not only eating but for games, puzzles, etc. Living room area and beds were comfortable. The only downside to this property was thermostat control -- guests have to contact the host to set and/or tweak temperature during the stay; therefore, I was not comfortable contacting the host in the middle of the night to move the temperature up or down a notch. If this detail was in the description, we missed it (?) -- we have rented many homes in the past few years, and this was a new experience for us. Overall, we had a nice stay and spent some quality family time together.

Beautiful home

We have been visiting Holden for over 10 years and this house is now one of our favorites. It has been perfectly renovated, beautiful inside and out. We loved the deck area, plenty of seating and space for everyone to relax. A short walk from the public beach access! Wonderful home. We will be visiting again soon.
