Lovely Chalet, Comfortable accomodation

Nice place to stay. Pretty close to the town centre and all the amenities. Well maintained place with good facilities.Easy stay for a family of 4.Kitchen was decently stocked up with essentials and had all the right utensils for a short stay. Wifi and heatpump was missing which would be kind of good to have. Will chose this place any day we come to visit Ruapehu. Thanks Richard

Quiet, peaceful place because it is the off-season now. Great walks around the area. No information received re check-in or check-out. Had to ring VRBO to be put in touch with property manager to get access to the place while sitting outside. Also, lockbox is not working well.

Ski trip

Good situation. Small kitchen. No information re trash disposal and one small container provided. Complaint from owner and extra charge for cleaning when rubbish left in bag in box in house. If issues dealt with is good deal No spare linen for 5 days. No dishwasher but complaint from owner re cleanliness of dishes

Cosy Lodge in Ohakune

Awesome place to set up base for a quick weekend ski trip. Small, cosy and has all you need.

Great price and location

Heaters got the place nice and warm. Comfortable beds. Well stocked and lots of extra, thoughtful touches. Just be careful on the slippery staircase. Son took a tumble down the stairs and we all had close calls. Don't wear socks on the staircase!

Cozy and warm. Didn't get keys till late. Contact number didn't work so waited for email. Will email for keys earlier next time. After that perfect for small family.

We loved our stay in the chalet! hit our heads numerous times on the walls up stairs (something were not used to) very basic amenities but we were only there to sleep. Hired our ski stuff from the closest ski rental in town, very friendly an drove 45 minutes to Mt Raupehu I was nervous to drive on the road but it was fine! Great stay nice and warm and cozy!

Great value for money

A cosy little place that was fairly basic in terms of facilities but had what we needed for a few days skiing, and was great value considering the price. The shower had really good pressure, and with the heaters on the space got nice and warm. A place to dry ski gear that wasn't in the bathroom (which got quite a lot if condensation) would've been great, but considering the size of the space there weren't many other places to put it. Really easy check-in process and overall a great experience.
