This was the perfect place for a weekend get away!

The renting process was quick and easy. The check in process went smoothly. The house and land itself were clean and beautiful. If I need to rent a lake house again I would definitely be coming back to this one!

The cabin was dirty, there was hair everywhere, the blankets were so dirty, no water upstairs, no internet, no trash cans, the outside grill didn’t work. I do not recommend this property

It was an ok house.

This property was ok. There is alot that can be done better. Starting with getting the place cleaner than it was, spiders, roaches, and ants were all in the house. We could not even sit on the furniture outside because it was dirty and the roaches. They scattered when you went out but it was still bad. The place was a little clean but one of beds had ants in it and I had to pull the sheets off and wash them myself. The steps to the dock were so hard to get by because there were so many bees, 2 of our group members got stung. You can tell this property is not properly exterminated. You should get this exterminated before someone comes. Also, the trash thing, if I pay an outrageous amount for cleaning fee, I refuse to take trash to the land field, 2 trash cans for 8 people and 5 days is NOT enough. As far as the dock, it was covered in spiderwebs. Please get this place sprayed down before someone comes to stay. The walk up to the dock was awful to get through the spider webs. Bees bees and more bees! If someone is allergic y’all might get sued. The bathroom door on the lower level gets stuck. The back door would not lock. The spiral steps are a cool gesture but they are dangerous. Just over all kind of dirty. Enjoyed the lake and kayaks and had over all good stay but there’s some things that need work.

bad communication from owner and listing is not at all as big as portrayed.

The listing should emphasize only 2 vehicles will fit, not just allowed but only 2 vehicles will fit in parking area it is tiny, on a dead-end street and truly only 2 vehicles fit. The pics make it look huge it is not! First thing we got someone stuck in the downstairs bathroom, the barn door will not open if you slide it shut all the way to use the bathroom. Then we pull a chair out from the table in the sunroom to sit there and the back of the chair came off in my hand. The 2 twin beds, you have NOWHERE to put them if you pull them apart. This property is so small you have no room for anyone. The room that the twin beds are in is more like a hallway, you cannot pull the beds apart and put the second one anywhere without having to move the tables and chairs out of that room and into another. The dryer would not get hot and work on any setting, I had to go buy towels. The kitchen is not fully stocked. There are 2 pots and one pan, all of which are so old that everything you cook in them sticks and is not edible. There were no sponges or anything to clean dishes or counters with and no mop anywhere. I had to go buy pots and pans and sponges to clean with. I reached out to the owner, and they told me I was wrong about everything. They did not offer any compensation for what I had to go buy. I would not stay again! And my daughter left a necklace, and the owner texted a pic of it to me and said she would mail it to me, It still has not arrived and it has been almost a month.

Great Adorable Cottage Feel Home

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this wonderful home. It is in a great private lakefront location close to town. We traveled to several state parks that are an easy day trip away. The home is very well equipped with everything you need and the decor is delightful. The information binder provided has lots of good info in it. Pictures do not represent how cute, comfortable, and large the home is.

Great location on the lake

This house makes great use of space, never felt nearly as small as the square footage would indicate. We spent plenty of time down at the dock and thoroughly enjoyed a quiet cove on the lake. Both my parents and our kids really loved this rental home.
