Great family home

Our stay in Orleans was wonderful. The house was perfect for my husband and I, our 3 adult children and partners. Mary Ellen was an excellent host and provided us with a home that was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We look forward to staying at MaryEllen’s again in the future.

Great Spot

Our family had a fantastic stay here. Great, quiet location and super close to both Skaket and Nauset beach. Very clean, comfortable bedding, couches, etc. Outdoor shower was also a bonus and some of us never showered inside. 10/10 would recommend.

The house was just what we were looking for. It provided ample amount of space for a family with teenagers. The house had all the amenities we needed to cook plenty of meals. Look forward to hopefully renting it again in the future.

Fantastic House!

We loved our stay at this house! It was a group of 8 friends and we had a fantastic time. The house is even lovelier than the pictures. It has a unique layout and is very spacious. The kitchen is super well stocked, and the beach chairs were very handy! Thanks again Mary Ellen!

Great stay in Orleans

We had a great stay at Mary Ellen’s home-it was spacious and extremely well equipped -I don’t think there was anything else we could have wanted as far as linens, kitchen ware, beach gear etc. Check-in was easy and instructions were simple. The driveway was a little challenging to exit safely but we found that if we drove through clockwise, the visibility was better. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous vacation. Beautiful Orleans home!!

Maryellen. Your Orleans is simply gorgeous! We had one of the best vacation weeks in your beautiful home. The layout is amazing....the separate space on the lower level was great for the teenage boys and the loft space up the spiral stairs was a haven for the younger girls and the livingroom and kitchen /dining/bar area was very spacious and comfortable for us all. The deck is great..the kids enjoyed soccer games in the yard and of course Nauset Beach was spectacular!!! All the beds were very comfortable and I love all the window treatments!! No complaints here...one recommendation would be to have the spicket on the outside shower looked at as water shooed up from the back...but still amazing outdoor shower!!! We will definitely be back next summer!!!

Ideal Orleans Vacation Spot!

This lovely home is exactly as described - clean and spacious allowing for privacy even with a large group. The kitchen is large and extremely well equipped and very organized - great for cooking for a crowd. The dining area adjoining the kitchen is well set up to handle overflow - with six bar stools at two counter seating areas in addition to the dining table. The outdoor deck is also a nice location for hanging out. Due to the multi-level design of the house, the bedrooms are all separated from each other ensuring privacy for all. The house is extremely well located for all that Orleans and the mid-Cape have to offer. We enjoyed the short walk or bike ride to and from Crystal Lake for our daily swims as well as biking to the beach and other nearby attractions. Although the house is on a fairly main road, it is set back and landscaped such that it feels very private. The owner is a delight to deal with. We had a wonderful week here with our family and would definitely return again!

Wonderful stay and this spacious home, lots of sunlight and extremely well stocked! Linens provided

We so enjoyed this property, such a spacious home with lots of sunshine, extremely well stocked and beautifully decorated. Close to two lakes and close to a number of beaches. Loved all the board games, too! Having our linens, bedsheets and towels all provided made for such a nice and easy trip! Mary Ellen even provided extra sand chairs and boogie boards to be used as we needed them. Weber grill who is in excellent condition. Highly recommended!

Perfect Cape Cod stay for families

We had a wonderful week in Orleans. The house was spacious for a large group and very clean. the new and well equipped kitchen made mealtimes with little kids on vacation so easy. Perfectly situated close to grocery stores, skaket beach and outings to Orleans/Chatham/Brewster.

Well Done

I've never seen a rental as well supplied. The floor plan had the 4 bedrooms on 4 separate levels which assured private space and quiet. The social areas were large and well appointed. The kitchen and outdoor grill allowed for the family to eat well at home or sample the local cuisine. Found two great places: LandHo and Mahoneys.....thank you for a great vacation.

Most perfect rental home imaginable!

We rented this incredibly lovely home because my daughter was getting married on the Cape and we wanted a home where our adult children could stay with us but still work remotely in the days leading up to the wedding. This home has the perfect layout for a larger group because there are different levels with different areas for privacy but then also great space to all be together. The house was amazingly well equipped with everything one could possibly want or need. The kitchen is awesome and we were able to enjoy some home cooked meals so we didn't need to go out every night for dinner. The house is kept in great shape and was very clean. It's in a fantastic location and is a quick, easy drive to shops, other towns, etc. I can't recommend this amazing house enough and we would definitely stay here again!

Family reunion

The house was clean and beautiful. It has about 5 floors so can be be a bit difficult for older people and dogs. However, it was perfect for a combination of people working, couples wanting privacy, and comfortable areas for various games and activities! Location was very central to town and beaches.. Nearby lake was perfect for a morning swim! And thank you Mary Ellen for allowing our well behaved dogs. We all had a great time!

Great house and location

House was very spacious and updated with an awesome kitchen and living room spaces. The location was great, road was busy but walking distance to a nice small beach on a lake and a boat launch onto a salt pond. Close distance to stores and beaches.

Lovely 4th of July getaway

Mary Ellen’s house was perfect for our needs - we had never stayed in Orleans before and love it . The house was perfect . Neat , clean an completely organized with everything we could possible need on vacation. Plenty is space with multi levels and a beautiful quiet back yard setting . Thank you for allowing us to bring Lucy our dog - it was really nice to have her come on vacation with us.

We enjoyed our time;The kitchen was gorgeous.

The location, the new bathrooms and bedrooms and the kitchen amenities were our favorite features . The home has beautiful decor in every single room. We appreciated that we could bring our dog and cook and enjoy home made meals in the very well appointed and gorgeous kitchen - dining area .

Great family stay

Very nice property central to everything. Spotless clean, layout is great for large families. Kitchen and dining area are superb. Pictures of place are 100% accurate. Everything worked well. Beach chairs, toys and towels were a big plus. Lots of games for families and kids to enjoy.

Perfect vacation home for two families

This home is beautifully appointed and fully stocked. It doesn’t feel like a summer home with cheesy decorations! We were able to cook meals— including large pots and pans if you’re cooking for extended family. It was a great spot for my family and my sister’s family with different levels. They even had a small area for basketball which the kids loved! The deck is a great spot for morning coffee. The main living room is almost entirely surrounded by glass walls which gives the space an open, pretty feel. I wouldn’t recommend this to folks who have difficulty with states (it’s five levels), but we were really pleased with the home. It’s close to shops and beaches in Orleans. Nauset beach is five minutes away and gorgeous. I’d love to come back next year!

Great vacation rental

Immaculately clean, spacious, well-stocked and completely comfortable! We had a wonderful 2 week stay. This house is very nicely updated (new bathrooms and state of the art new kitchen) and furnished with comfy seating for many. It was immaculate, cool w/ central AC, well-organized, and has every thing a home needs to function smoothly. Everything you need is there! Not your average cape rental at all! Location is great for easy and quick drive to bay or ocean, town or access to nearby freshwater ponds which were great for swimming after a day at the beach. Driveway is blind, and a little scary getting in or out but we had no issues. I highly recommend!
