Beware of Extra costs

Cute, clean house, nicely modernized but BEWARE that management company, EVOLVE, added a large fee (non-refundable) for cleaning and insurance even though I was told to leave it clean and orderly -which I did! I was certain this was a deposit and I’d get it back when they checked that I left it “as it was when I arrived”. A cabin I stayed at the weeks before gave me my deposit back and did not charge extra for cleaning and insurance (??). Not EVOLVE! I am a fool for thinking so.

Lovely property, recently renovated

This is a lovely little cottage cheerfully acquitted with a lovely bedroom and more than enough living room space for my purposes. There is a great showerhead in the bathroom which I used to wash off after three prior days of camping. Very comfortable and clean. Location: I had thought this was closer to the beach or at least a river access point, which was my mistake.It is located in an odd intersection near the highway. You can hear the highway from the room. Those are the only reason I give it four stars instead of five.

Cute and clean cottage

Cottage was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. Layout is a little bit awkward (cramped bedroom space, couch facing kitchen counter). One could walk to Wiscasset Village, but it's 1 1/2 miles along a busy highway, with no sidewalk for half of it.
