This is an oceanfront home with some unbeatable qualities and windows to let in awe-inspiring views, spacious rooms, and a light palette that seems to intensify the ocean light. Multiple decks extend out for unobstructed views. Hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, and a fireplace grace the great room, which stretches across the entire front of the home with large windows to the ocean. Cozy

Very comfortable and clean, would be nice to have tv working with cable in the upstairs room, also the dryer was not working that was a bummer.all abd all the stay was great.

Great place for the whole family

An amazing place to stay. Lots of room for the whole family. Plenty to do for all ages. You can watch the whales spout out the huge windows and go explore the tide pools right out front. We would definitely stay again!

Spring Break on the Oregon Coast

The house was definitely big enough. Two teen boys took the basement, two teen girls took upstairs. Room to cook and eat. Pans and tins should be upgraded. Some real rough ones, especially the griddle. It is so warped it doesn’t sit on the burners and has pancake burn spots forever embedded in the surface. The area is close to plenty of things to explore and visit. The neighborhood is somewhat rough with a teardown next door and one across the street. I was hoping to sit out, no furniture as pictured. The light fixtures were somewhat sparse as were the light bulbs for playing games in the evenings, but we managed. The kids helped me tell blue from green playing UNO. It was good vacation for all.

Dog friendly vacation weekend

We really enjoyed the view the most at this property, it rained a lot but we still got to enjoy it. Beach access is not far away which all could manage. Thanks for letting us bring our dogs as they had a blast as well!

Nice location, great views..kitchen not very clean and quality of utensils/ pots and pans questionable..left burner on stove doesn’t work BUT!! We had a great time .. space was nice.

Large and wonderful views.

House was very large. Allowed great views and independent spaces for everyone to relax. Neighborhood contained some houses that are very run down/in disrepair, especially next door.

Paying for the view

If you are wanting a view this is the house for you. Im not one to complain or "yuck someones yum" but the price we paid for this house I would have expected more from it. Everything (I mean everything) is outdated. The toilet paper holders are missing covers, the house was not cleaned properly (we left it much cleaner than we got), the garbage can was half full and they don't tell you before check in that the driveway only fits 3 cars. We had 2 trucks and a small car and we had to move the vehicles around everyday just to use them. The stairs in the description were just fine to climb up and down until you got to the missing step on the last sections and the bottom step is about ready to fall off as well, very dangerous as it is fairly steep. There is also a whole section of the deck they boarded off. Rather than repairing the handrail they just block it off. Just another example of not taking the time to repair things. The house next to this rental appears abandoned but obviously is lived in. The deck overlooks that property and there is garbage and broken glass all over the deck. It is just an eye sore and a bit uncomfortable not knowing what the house may be used for. We found old mouse droppings downstairs that had been there for awhile. There is paint over the wallpaper in the bathroom, the finish on light fixtures were cracking and flaking from age, the floors are sloped/unlevel. It is obvious this house is only used as a rental and NEVER has "patch work" done on it.

Spectacular view

The accommodations were just perfect for everyone that came. We each had our own little section. The kiddos loved the house; great home to play hide-n-seek! The dogs loved the fireplace, after playing at the beach, they came back and snoozed the day away.We only had big serving spoons and we had some pretty small mouths; small spoons would be great. You need new cookie sheets, light bulbs, we had one burn out in the kitchen, and we could not find any replacements in the house, so it was a bit dark when we were cooking. The toaster needs to be thrown away. It almost caught on fire. The metal things inside came out when the toast came out.

Overall we had a great stay. It is an Ocean front location with private steps to the beach. Large accommodation with comfortable beds. On the negative side, the home had two frying pans, both which were bad. The washing machine was nonfunctional which we found out 3 days before checking in.

Would not recommend

Old house renovated but lacking in adequate supplies (utensils, glasses etc very limited), beach access is too hard and impossible for some people, place has an ant problem, and there are plenty of other options literally on the same block.
