Beautiful home

Rent this property now! Beautifully decorated, and clean. The property is on a large serene cove, exceptional home. Had everything we needed. We even took our own boat and stored it on the boat lift all weekend. We all loved the paddle boards, lily pad,, and fishing off the docks. We will definitely be back!

Quiet and Clean!

My mom and I stayed here for a weekend of shopping at Canton First Monday, and it was perfect! Incredibly clean and well appointed, and a gorgeous place to retreat to at the end of a long day, with amazing views as a bonus.

Solar Eclipse 2024 in Mabank, TX

Fantastic lake property in Texas! Drove right up the driveway and parked the vehicle into the garage. Excellent modern amenities inside with a very comfortable open floor plan, perfect for our family of 6. Yard was very large. We enjoyed the total eclipse viewing in the beach chairs, enjoyed the lake on the second deck of the boat house, and the kids enjoyed the big oak tree swing. Weather was fantastic- thank you Mother Nature! Ate at nearby Vickie’s BBQ - food was great and folks were so nice. To the owners- thank you so much for the fair-priced, great value during this historic event! Easily 5 Stars here.

Best spring break!

We loved this gorgeous home right on the lake. So quiet and serene, but easy to run to town for groceries and dinner. The dock was great for fishing and our kids loved the paddle boards. Gorgeous lake, not crowded. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable Lake House with Great Back Yard

Lovely home. Loved the variety of outside seating- covered porch, fire pit area, upper deck over lake. Long kitchen provides a lot of room for cooking. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood.

Would come back - very nice place

Very clean and nice home, right on a quiet cove. Air conditioner worked wonderfully, even in this extreme heat. We did not utilize the available paddle boards but wished we had brought along our kayaks. The area was perfect for them. Had deer visitors every evening in the front yard and a cute little lizard every morning on the back porch. We rented a pontoon boat and played on the lake Saturday. Everyone left happy that they had come. Would definitely book again. Felicia was lightning fast with communications and very helpful.

Great Boat Dock

We brought our boat and the lift system on the dock was great. Was able to fully lift our boat out of the water each night. Dock has a nice deck on top as well. Deer in the yard everyday. Beautiful neighborhood

Beautiful place

The place and great location. We didn’t use much of the river stuff because we were close to my family’s house but was prefect for what we needed. I would of loved to have the curtains in the master a little more darker so the light was not so bright in the morning and the spider webs knocked down by lake so we could stay on the dock more. Everything else was great

Wonderful, Relaxing Weekend

The ladies of our family took a relaxing, getaway to this wonderful home, and we all loved it! The house was very well maintained inside and out. The property offers many activities for young and old alike. Our group ranged from 18 to 74, and everyone enjoyed themselves. From floating in a tube off of the dock, paddle boarding, reading on the deck, talking around the fire pit, watching movies on the big screen tv, everyone had something to do. The kitchen and grill were a joy to cook on. There was enough space to spread out. We just had the best time, and we plan to return again!

Wonderful getaway spot!

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with friends. Already thinking about going back. Perfectly appointed with all the comforts of home, and some we only dream of. Loved the ease of cooking on a gas grill, eating on the back porch with the sunset view over the lake. Firepit made a great place for happy hour.

Amazing lakefront property!

My husband and I met our college aged daughters and each invited a friend to this beautiful lakefront property for a weekend visit. Everything was perfect. We grilled on the gorgeous backporch, utilized the kitchen to its fullest which is stocked with every utensil, tool and appliance one might need, and would have enjoyed the lakeside fire pit had it not been quite so hot. Check in/out was super easy. We will absolutely book this property again in the future when visiting CCL!

Perfect Lake Escape

Upon arrival the the tall piney woods and lake draw you in like the perfect lakeside movie you watched as a kid. The House welcomes you in like your own home and you adjust within seconds. The home had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean and had a wonderful view with deer roaming just across the lake. We were are excited to fish, sit by the fire and hold a marshmallow over the flame getting it just right to build the perfect smore. . The owners are attentive and check on your stay. I would highly recommended this beautiful VRBO to friends and family. Perfect for a fishing and awesome weekend this summer! You won’t be disappointed!

Loving the Lake Life!

This is a terrific home that is so comfortable and beautiful! The directions were perfect-- just an easy 80 minute drive from the heart of Dallas. Upon arrival, we were able to park our car in the clean garage, which is nice. We had one cloudy day, but it didn't matter, we just lounged on the comfortable furniture and enjoyed the spectacular view from the huge living room window. We used every inch of the well appointed home, inside and out- had drinks on the sizable covered patio and watched the sun set from the fire pit! The owner was so so kind and hospitable-- quickly answering questions in advance and left us a very generous and delicious welcome gift in the fridge to get the party started! The kitchen had every thing we needed-- high quality pottery, great barware, serving trays, storage bowls, etc. We will be back again and have already recommended this property to others.

Quiet Oasis

This property far exceeded my expectations! We stayed here as a weekend getaway with my family of 4 and another family of 4! We each had two kids under the age of 6! When you first drive up you notice the expansive front driveway, complete with a tree swing for the kids. As we unloaded the car, the kids rode their bikes up and down the driveway and explored the front yard! We unloaded and found two refrigerators, which were perfect for overflow for our crew with all the food and beverages we brought. We were first greeted by the beautifully renovated, open concept main living area with nice cozy living set, plenty of pantry space, and a perfectly placed dining area to have the adults sit and talk while the kiddos played in the front living area or watched TV on the massive 75 inch screen! Great sound system too. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful serene patio views of the calm cove, in addition to a lovely fire pit! We ran out and had to grab some supplies for SMORES! We also discovered some lake toys- Lily pad, paddle boards, etc., in the garage which will be an awesome bonus when we come back for our summer vacation! Also plenty of room to park one car in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities, double ovens and a gas stove for when we cooked our big meal! There were four new white bar stools instead of the two in the pictures which came in very handy. Also grilled steaks and hotdogs one night on the Weber Genesis grill which my husband loved. The covered patio is great for grilling or dining especially in rainy weather. We had plenty of towels and complementary toiletries for everyone. The bathrooms were updated and immaculate!! The Sheets and bedding were clean and cozy and way nicer than the typically rentals we have stayed in! There is a large new Samsung TV in the master which was not in the pictures, very nice. We did had some trouble finding the cushions for the upper deck chairs and had to call the house manager. They responded immediately and helped us find them. The view of the cove from the upper deck is amazing! We will be bringing our boat and jet ski next time when come back this summer!! The dock even has mooring whips in case you have guests come by on the water! I do not normally write this detailed of a review for our VRBO stays but this is a truly wonderful house that felt more like home. Highly recommend!
