Svit på tredje våningen i Kentucky River Cottages. * Visas på Live Well Network's Sweet Retreats!* Stugan ligger på en stor trädbevuxen tomt med utsikt över Palisades i Kentucky River. De omgivande skogen och floden ger ett spektakulärt landskap året runt. Familjen rekreation är lätt tillgängliga på Horseshoe pit och Corn Hole styrelser. Med direkt tillgång till floden, kanotpaddling och kajakpaddling är populära aktiviteter vid floden. På kvällen koppla av i bubbelpoolen och stjärna blickar runt en öppen eld i den stora eldstaden utanför stenuteplatsen. Om du vill ha mer äventyr, är stugan en kort bilresa till roliga middagsupplevelser på Jean Farris Winery and Bistro, eller Proud Marys restaurang och bar vid floden. Även om stugan ligger i en avskild miljö, är det bara en halv mil från Interstate 75, inom bekvämt köravstånd till Boones Trace Championship golfbana, Boone Creek Canopy Tour (zipline) Boonesborough State Park, Red River Gorge och Natural Bridge State Park. Kentucky Horse Park är en populär attraktion och går ihop med turer i omgivande hästgårdar och ett besök på pensionerade rashästar på Old Friends Farm. Stugorna på tredje våningen erbjuder en mysig parreservat med utsikt över Kentucky River från matsalen i stugan. Dörrarna öppnar mot ett privat däck för att koppla av med ditt morgonkaffe. Budget Conscious Place

Great location and a budget conscious place. Upon checking in the third story rental was musty smelling and both bedside lamps weren’t in working order. One was missing a lightbulb and the other was burned out. The TV claimed to have Spectrum/cable, but that was incorrect. The small TV only had a Roku and was useless unless someone has streaming services. Be careful walking on the stairs as multiple wooden steps were broken and dangerous.

Peaceful and Relaxed

Kentucky weekend

Nice to be away from the busy city of Lexington but yet close enough to easily drive there. Very private setting and nice view of River! Everything clean, quiet and cozy!

Weekend Away

While the cabin was comfortable, it fell a little short in several respects. The cabin advertised a jetted tub but the tub was not functioning. We didn’t find out until we got to the property. This was one of the reasons we originally booked the property. We literally had this as one of our search results. The view was beautiful but again it fell short as signs were posted by the River saying Do Not Enter. It was inaccessible with a wobbly deck leading down to the water. The host was very pleasant and called prior to our visit. Just wish we had known about the limitations prior to booking. We did ask for a price adjustment based on the non-functioning tub since that was very important to us but didn’t receive any refunds.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great experience at the cottage! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The deck and view are wonderful. Quiet setting but close to wineries and Lexington. Brenda was super friendly and a great host. We will return.

Location is very quiet and beautiful. However property is dated and in need of repairs. AC/Heat had musty odor. Very tiny kitchen but ok if you plan to eat out. Host is very nice.

Just what was needed!

The property is so beautiful, both the cottage itself and the setting. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing time, along with some nearby fun places to visit and sight seeing, this cottage is just the answer! And the owner was so nice and really cares about her guests! It was a wonderful time.

Nice Room and Beautiful View

This efficiency has a great private back deck that looks out over the Kentucky River. It's away from the business of the city and a short drive to Lexington and some good hikes.

Kentucky River Cabin

We stayed on the third floor of the cabin and we loved it. We greatly enjoyed the view of the river from the balcony. It was very private and quiet. We would definitely stay again. Brenda was a great hostess.

We enjoyed our stay in the river cottage very much. The unit was clean and check in was very easy. Brenda was very quick to respond to any questions we had about the area. We will definitely check into staying here again if we are back in the Lexington area.

Perfect location

Lovely little cottage on the Kentucky River

What a great spot to stay. Centrally located got all our activities From visiting wineries in the area, exploring Berra, & visiting historic sights. Lots of rain while there & the waterfalls coming down the rock on other side of River was awesome Also great place to watch the birds.

My husband and I love to fish and boat on the Kentucky River as well as enjoy the many country side beauties of our scenic state. Entertaining our family and friends with southern style hospitality is very important to us. We also love people and want to provide a place for others to experience the beauty of the outdoors and nature

Varför värden valde detta boende

We purchased this three acre piece of property to have easy access to the river for boating and fishing. Though the house needed to be completely remodeled and the surrounding area cleaned, the view was overwhelmingly beautiful and made all the hard work worth it. The property is located 10 minutes from Lexington and .5 mile from Exit 99 of I-75 off of Ky 2328, so it is easy for visitors to locate when traveling in the scenic Bluegrass.
