Wonderful property

The Mermaid Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in Monterey! It has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable, relaxed trip on the coast. Very clean and updated. I am wholeheartedly recommending it!

Fanstastic

It was fabulous - such a high quality property and amazing location. Zorka could not have been more helpful. I would recommend this without reservation. We had an amazing time.

Great location, close to ocean and walking paths, easy walk to shops,Cannery Row.

Very clean! Nice kitchen! Comfy beds! But did not pay fthe cable/dish bill do good reading.

Great Location and Comfortable Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Lover's Point. The house was perfect for our 5 person family. The 2 full baths were great for getting everyone out the door (I have 2 daughters). The proximity to Pacific Grove and Monterey Bay is really nice, I jogged/walked to Monterey Bay aquarium every morning on shoreline jogging/biking trail. We are looking forward to coming back in the future. Thank you!

Home so close to the beach!

This home was such a great place to stay with my wife and two young children. It was just a short walk away from Lovers Point, and only a couple of minutes away from Cannery Row where there was so many amazing places to eat and see! Not only were we close enough to walk to the Aquarium but we were located just minutes away from a movie theater, and the house its self was so amazing we didn't even need to go anywhere else!

Clean, had nice view but the power lines are a distraction. Had to buy a reading lamp for living room. Well stocked kitchen. Beds were comfortable and clean. Great location by lovers point. Easy access to the bike trail, did 10 mile 4 times a week

Mermaid cottage review

Me and my wife stayed here for 6 months and it was wonderful. A half a block away from the most beautiful coast line in the country. There is nothing like waking up and looking out the window to see whales jumping. Didn't have any issues with property managers. They were very tentative and even brought us a Brady cradle when my little nephew came to visit.

Cute and cozy.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mermaid cottage. We loved the location! The cottage is close to a little beach and a great recreational trail, which can lead you to Cannery Row & the Old Fisherman's Wharf or the lighthouse depending on which direction you chose to go. The cottage itself was clean, cozy and cute. We loved all of the mermaid themed decor. We did experience an issue with the previous renters, but Sean and Zorka, the property managers, took really good care of us. They were accommodating, professional, and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family vacation spot! Everything easily accessible.

My husband, daughter (7) and I stayed at this adorable mermaid themed cottage. Everything we needed was very close by, and the trail along the coast proved to be quite a source of entertainment for our family. We were able to rent some bikes from Adventures By The Sea for a day, visit Monterey Bay Aquarium (a big hit with my seven year old, and still so impressive for my husband and I) and Cannery Row on another. It was raining for a couple days where we opted to stay inside and spend some family time together, which the cottage proved to be absolutely perfect for. It is well maintained, and anytime we were in need, Sean and Zorka were extremely attentive. Overall this was a wonderful family vacation!

So Sad to Leave this Place

The Lover's Point Mermaid Cottage was the perfect place to spend my month of October. My expectations were exceeded! The location was ideal and allowed me to easily get out and walk the ocean path 3-4 times a day. I was able to work in front of the 2nd floor front window and stare out at the ocean all day! And Pacific Grove stole my heart. I loved walking around downtown and stopping in the shops and restaurants.

Lovely Beach House

Beautiful place to spend a month. One house back from Ocean View Blvd, which is actually nice when the weekend crowds descend on Lover's Point. The view of Monterey Bay from the living room window is better than pictured - plenty of otter sightings and even a whale. Matthew and his team were very responsive to our requests. Our only regret is not booking a longer stay.

Great location and property

Lover's Point Mermaid Cottage exceeded our expectations for ocean access and for ease of walking to shops and restaurants. Our booking liaison was wonderful to work with and provided several recommendations that became "go-to" favorites while we were there. Will definitely book this cute mermaid cottage again!

Little gem by the sea

We had a wonderful time at this little house. The views from the second floor were amazing. My 4 year old love using the binoculars to look at boats on the water. It was very clean and comfortable. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. The house had everything you would need. It even had a drawer full of sand toys for the beach. The only negative we found was that the lighting in the house is very harsh. I think the lights must be older LEDs or something. We spent most nights with the lights off in the living room. It felt a little like we were sitting under stadium lights.

Lovely cottage in Pacific Grove!

We had such a wonderful Christmas vacation at this cottage! 1 block from the ocean, well stocked house w/ extra towels , blankets etc. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed the Cottage. It fit my 5 person family very well. The location was simply awesome. I jogged the shoreline trail every morning and we walked into town to get an ice cream. It is a short drive from Pavel's Backerei (which has the most awesome breakfast, and sour dough for your 17 mile drive).

great location

very clean, great location, only down side was having to deal with the stairs , bedrooms downstairs everything including 2nd bathroom were upstairs, not a deal breaker but could be for elderly or those with knee issues .Other then that would stay there again

Cute home with great views of water

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is very clean and loved the living room and kitchen being on the second floor so we had views of the ocean over the houses in front of us. It is really decorated beach and has plenty of dishes and pans if you wish to cook at home instead of eating out. The bathrrooms are very nice, the only drawback being one was on the second floor. We would have enjoyed an outdoor grill, perhaps on the back patio?

Fantastic place to stay!

The location was fabulous with great accomodations. It had everything one could ask for. We only had one vehicle, so parking was not an issue. I would highly reccommend this rental for anyone looking to get away and enjoy the oceans marinelife, (lots of otters, seals, and whales)!
