Modern amenities and 2 self-contained levels with air conditioning make for fantastic relaxation and entertaining spaces, including the alfresco BBQ area for year-round enjoyment. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, plus a well-stocked kitchen and light-filled dining space make this your home away from home!
The Space:
Welcome to âMarlinâs Coveâ in idyllic Ocean Grove, only moments away from stunning beaches, cafes, shopping, and walking trails near wetlands and recreation reserves. This coastal townhouse offers a laidback lifestyle base, so you can enjoy all the attractions of the Bellarine, Geelong region, and The Great Ocean Road.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, with timber flooring and contemporary finishes that encapsulate the coastal lifestyle. Each level is equipped with split system air conditioning for your complete comfort.
This property offers a unique and versatile design for families, with a self-contained ground floor layout that features a living zone and European laundry (washing machine, no dryer) with kitchenette (stainless-steel oven and gas stove). There is a projector downstairs so guests can cast off their smart phone or tablet. Two well-sized bedrooms with built-in robes and ceiling fans share access to the downstairs main bathroom, so itâs ideal for teenagers or multigenerational family members to have some independence during their stay.
A timber staircase leads to the upper floor, where you will find the open living zone (Smart TV with Netflix connectivity), dining area and kitchen. Abundant natural light floods the space, and easy flow to the alfresco area is wonderful for BBQâs and entertaining any time of the year.
The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need, complete with stone benchtops, dishwasher, gas stove, oven and a coffee pod machine. The two bedrooms on this floor feature built-in robes and ceiling fans, while the main bedroom boasts an ensuite. Completing the second-floor layout is a separate bathroom, as well as external stair access so you can easily come home and shower after a surf.
Four bedrooms are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels and sleeps up to 9 guests (bunks for children only) for easy family holidays. Located upstairs is the master with ensuite, and a second bedroom that is serviced by the 2nd bathroom. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are downstairs and they share access to the main bathroom (shower, vanity, toilet).

Beaches - Our beautiful local surf beach is approx 1km away (Ocean Throughway). Ocean Grove Main Beach offers family friendly swimming, surfing, and walking and is patrolled in summer months.
13th Beach offers long beach walks and waves for advanced surfers.
Barwon River caters to fishing, swimming, SUPing, kayaking, and walking the shoreline.
The house is situated 1.5km from The Terrace shopping precinct, with plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries, breweries around the region.
Adventure Park is a great day out with the kids - just 10 mins drive away.
Getting Around:
Our beach house is only 1km to the nearest surf beach on Ocean Throughway. Easy walking/riding distance to parks, reserves and shops. Off-street parking available for 2 cars on driveway (garage is locked/not available). The house is situated approx 1.5km from The Terrace shopping/dining precinct, or 1.2km from the Ocean Grove Marketplace shopping centre on Shell Rd.
Buses to and from Ocean Grove/ Barwon Heads / Geelong.âŻ
Closest train station 25km away (Marshall station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.âŻ
