This gorgeous 3 bedroom/1 bath historic cabin blends rustic charm with thoughtful amenities making it the perfect mountain lake escape!

Guests will love the serene setting set way up on a hill, yet the convenience to Big Bear’s stunning natural attractions just a few miles from the lake, Big Bear Snow Summit, and less than 200 yards away from San Bernardino National Forest

The living room is warm and cozy with wood features, high ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and a wood-burning fireplace the ideal spot to relax after a fun-filled day of sledding nearby or hitting the slopes at the Summit. Guests who still have some energy to burn can challenge each other to a friendly or competitive! game of foosball or darts.

The charming kitchen has brand-new countertops, stainless steel appliances, a farm-style sink, and a Keurig coffee maker. The beautiful wood dining table seats 6 and is the perfect spot to gather for meals and recount the day’s adventures. In warmer months, fire up the propane BBQ and dine with a tree-top view from the front deck, and if there is a chill in the air, enjoy star-filled skies gathered around the fire pit.

Ready to turn in for the night? Guests will have their choice of 3 comfortable upstairs bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and full bed with a flat-screen TV and streaming services, bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and bedroom 3 has a full-sized bed.

Love the place, hate the checkin process

We loved the place. It's a great location. It's clean, enjoyable, and with tons of attention to the comfort of the guests. I'm not sure I would go back though because of the checkin process. We wasted a lot of time with the checkin process. We made all arrangments through VRBO, yet we had to check in in person with Meredith property management. We basically redid the same thing we had already done online. The property management texted us all the information we needed. When I texted back, they didn't reply so I wasn't sure whether the text they sent was from an automated process or not. Every one can start checking at 4 PM so we had to wait in line, for an agent to tell us in person what the text had already explained. I had to present my ID, what for? I don't know since I wouldn't have to do that had I arrived after the office is closed. The personnel isn't the friendliest either. We're all there to enjoy some relaxing time so the least they could do is be relaxed and friendly.
