Great place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time! The condo was great with the exception of the master bed. The bed took life out of our bodies due to how uncomfortable. The last night we sleep in the guestroom with our daughter which saved us the last night. Hopefully they will change the mattress. Other than crawling out of bed every morning to the hot shower, our stay was great.

Family Vacation 2025

You can expect beautiful ocean views from the lockout bedroom, hallway bedroom, living room, & dining area of the main suite. The kitchen was very well stocked, & we appreciated the generous starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. There were also several beach chairs, umbrellas, & beach toys provided.The balcony view wasn’t quite as impressive as we had hoped, & since it was only partially covered, the rain during our first three days made it a bit challenging— with no indoor pool on the property.The battery-operated roll-up shades were excellent for blocking out the sunlight, & we really appreciated the convenience of the in-room laundry facilities. The washing machine does leak from the door seal & could use a good cleaning. We ran an empty cycle first & made sure to remove laundry promptly once the cycle finished. It’s also important to leave the washer door open when not in use to avoid unpleasant odors.The outdoor pool was the perfect temperature for relaxing throughout the day & evening. The hot tub, while a bit too warm for my personal comfort in the Florida heat, was still a nice feature—just be aware that it did bleach my swimsuit. That’s more of a personal preference than a complaint against the resort.We would recommend both the condo & the property. Just a heads-up: you’ll want to head to the beach early, due to 3 to 4 rows of rental chairs & umbrellas blocking the view of the shoreline.

Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed in

The condo was wonderful!!!! We will definitely be back. Leslie was our contact at My Vacation Haven and she was wonderful. The views were the best part and close walk to the beach. I had to do some computer work and had the perfect window view as I was working. We don't want to leave!!!!

Penthouse

Our stay was nice. Pictures of inside a little misleading. Could use some more kitchen utensils such as potholders and cooking pieces. Also be nice to have a broom and dustpan to help keep it cleaned up during week. Grills outside not usable with a lighter. Overall a nice stay.

Condo has a great view, is clean, has plenty of utensils for cooking, and is nicely decorated. There were two chairs where legs were either loose or had fallen off but with a screw driver these are both quick fixes. Otherwise everything is as listed and is a very nice place.

Family Vacation

Beautiful condo and views! Great for our family! The oven door handle was broken but we were made aware of this on arrival. Kitchen supplies limited-no oven mits and being from Louisiana we cook instead of going out. Shower head fell off when my husband got in the shower the last day and we were notified when it was fixed although we had already left. We would definitely stay there again if the beach weren’t so crowded- probably will consider for Fall vacation though!

Door Codes Didn’t Work

When we arrived at 3am Thursday morning, the door codes were not working. It took us a good hour to finally contact someone, and they were able to get us in with a temporary code. A locksmith had to come out later and activate new codes and replace the batteries in each of the two doors. We’d like to be compensated for one night, if that’s not to much to ask. Comfortable Stay

This was our first time staying in Sandestin and didn’t know what to expect. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the pool and it was heated! Perfect this time of year. The unit was clean and comfortable but a little more beat up than I expected. We had no use of the freezer, ice because it was broken and not freezing anything. The refrigerator worked but drawers were broken. I wish the property company would have told us this before our arrival. The communicated with us about the motorized roller shade in the living area that was broken but the freezer heads up would have been nice. We had to get ice and use coolers. That was our biggest inconvenience. Overall it was a nice stay.

Moving up to the penthouse level

This past year we decided to spend a little bit more and rent a penthouse condo with plenty of room for everyone. It was well worth it. This was our first trip in a very long time that I did not feel like I was stepping on people or trying to be quiet in order to not wake anyone up. This condo is very spacious and comes with an incredible view of the gulf coast. Everyone had a room to themselves with a king sized bed and their own bathroom. The condo comes with a private storage area which includes beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and other beach toys. We love staying at the San Destin Luau and would return to this unit again.

Excellent Stay

The property was great, and as advertised. Plenty of room for the family! The location was excellent as well, just a quick stroll to the beach and just a quick drive over to Baytowne and several close shopping locations!

Fun Family Spot

As a family of 6 adults and one newborn we really enjoyed our stay. Each bedroom having it’s own bathroom was perfect and much needed. The only complaint was the smell. It smelled like burnt electrical coils the entire time. But we enjoyed having the pool and the beach within walking distance. The property was easy to work with and stayed in contact the entire time.

Great Stay for Families

Loved that 3 couples could stay here and each couple had it's own bathroom to use and all had king beds. We also loved that we were given access to beach chairs, etc.

Miramar Beach

The pictures are misleading, there balcony does not look out on the beach, it looks out on the back. Property lacked a lot of basic necessities. Very few forks, the toaster only toasted one side of the bread, the frig froze the milk. The several of the beach chairs in the storage area were broken. No one monitors the pool area, it was full of large floats and people throwing things. I got hit in the head with a football. O n the plus side, it was decorated nicely and was nice and open. The kitchen was very small to work in though.

Beautiful Condo

Me and my family stayed in a 3 bedroom and we absolutely loved the views. The condo had a short walk to the beach that at any time of our stay we could just get up and go take a stroll to the beach.
