Historiskt hus byggt 1920 har 9 sovrum och 3 fulla bad. Med tre tunnland strömfodrad fastighet. Har en volleyboll / badmintonbana, två eldgropar.

Det stora rummet har en 8 fot bred eldstad, bredvid en 7 fot projektionsskärm med full 5. 1 Dolby surroundljud. Två sittplatser för alla.
Andra roliga saker inne i det stora rummet, biljardbord, pingpongbord, darttavla, foosboll, airhockey och en stor bar.
Två enorma verandor 60ft X 15ft och 30 fot X 12ft delvis täckt veranda med utsikt över en bäck.

Köket inkluderar: Vulcan 6 brännare spis, platt grill, ugn, frukostkrok, kaffebryggare.
Matsal, plats för 10 personer.

Girls weekend 2025

So the girls in my family have an annual weekend away to get together and catch up and just enjoy our time together. We have been coming here for about 4-5 years and always looking forward to coming back again. Our time together is so important . We treasure every minute we have together and are never bored. Always plenty to do there. We absolutely love this place and our hosts Jack & Anna are amazing! Thank you once again.

Could not have been better!!!

This truly was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this home to any family with a large number of members. The owners were remarkably cooperative and concerned about our satisfaction. A lot of things to do and extremely well equipped with everything but food. Truly a MUST use. We will be back next year for sure!!!

Great for Family Reunions

We had a great visit. The house is well equipped to cook for a crowd. There are lots of beds, a pool table, ping pong, darts, etc. The firepit made a great place to hang out in the evenings. Overall, the place has kind of a summer camp feel. There are also several hiking options nearby.

Perfect Accommodations

The property had everything we wanted and needed. And some stuff we didn’t even realize we wanted or needed! Can’t say enough good things about our stay. There was 15 of us and we could’ve had 20 and been comfortable. Next year we just might reach 20 based on how successful our visit was.

A Perfect Getaway!

We needed a place to stay that housed close to 30 people, and this was the perfect place to do it! The owners were easy to get in contact with and clear with instructions. Everything we needed was available and well-stocked. There was plenty of space for us to move around and let the kids play. It’s was comfortable and cozy. I cannot say enough good things about this home or the owners. If you need space for any kind of gathering, you can definitely rely on this place. I hope to visit again someday!

Amazing for Groups

I had a great experience with this host! Vrbo is a different story--I booked this house after my previous Vrbo host cancelled on me 1 week before my trip. That was a nightmare. Anyway, luckily, I was able to book this property with less than a week until the party, and the family that owns this house was very pleasant. The house was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of kitchenware, towels, etc. There is no cell signal on the property, but the wifi password is on the bulletin board in the kitchen. It was a great place to host my birthday party. I would come back.

Perfect home away from home

We were a group of 23 for a family reunion. Ana and Jack were most accommodating snd we loved their place! The house is spacious, clean, and has so many things to do from air hockey, corn hole on the lawn, darts, ping pong, puzzles, and games. The kitchen has everything and anything you could wish for. We gathered around the fire pit and roasted marshmallows and talked and talked into the night. This is the perfect place to be together and is a home away from home.

Girls Weekend 2024

Beautiful property with a stream that leads to a waterfalls. Peaceful. We have been coming here for 3 years and absolutely enjoyed our time every year. The house is large enough for 20 of us to stay and still have room to spread out and enjoy different things. There’s a great fir out for nights, a fireplace during the day. Bar area with pool table foosball, and dance to some music. (We make it work. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is plenty big to work together and hang out and talk while preparing meals. Thinking maybe next year…..

TG Holiday 2023

Annually I rent a home in the Poconos to accommodate my family for the Thanksgiving weekend. This year we stayed at this lovely home. The owner takes pride in this home, very clean, and very well-supplied. We had more than enough room for the 12 of us. The open floor plan made it nice for us when cooking, we were still able to visit with family in the living room and game room. Just a great place altogether, great yard, private, quiet, and quaint. We certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway in the Poconos.

Family reunion

We had a marvelous 3 night stay at this former youth hostel which accommodated all 28 of us very comfortably. The bedrooms were decent size, especially the loft rooms. The kitchen is large and well appointed so feeding the multitudes was easy. Plenty of extra tables to seat everyone, even a highchair for the baby. Plenty of indoor and outdoor games. The creek was a big hit with the kids. The hosts were very responsive. Will definitely go again for another reunion!

Family vacation

House was huge with plenty of room for 18 of us. All couples were able to have there own room. Lots of outdoor space. Appreciated that there were plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Everything that we needed. Hosts made it clear they were available for any questions. Space to all be together, yet room to spread out. Enjoyed very much!

Birthday getaway

Amazing!

We rented the house for an anniversary celebration with friends. Loved the open concept because it kept us all together while some played games and others sang karaoke. The host was very friendly and always available by phone when we had questions. Can’t wait to plan our next trip to this home.

Amazing property with a fantastic kitchen

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect for our group. Lots of things to do inside (pool, ping pong, games) and outside (fire pit, badminton, volleyball). I mentioned to the host that we were having a Thanksgiving celebration and they put out a turkey platter and some turkey decorations for us which was a really nice touch. There was also a handwritten note on the counter welcoming me when I arrived. The kitchen is even more amazing in person than the pictures make it look. Having hosted this same group in small apartments over the years, a giant kitchen was a really a fun upgrade. A separate bar and a coffee area off to the side meant more space for cooking and smaller eating area on the other end meant people could hang out with the cooks without getting in the way. I don't remember if the listing mentions it but in addition to the large kitchen fridge, there's a regular size fridge near the bar which was great for drinks. Our group of 19 had more than enough room and everyone enjoyed being able to split off and do stuff in smaller groups (a few people on the porches, a few people playing video games, a few people in the kitchen, a few at the bar, etc.). Some notes for renters in the future: - There are plenty of towels and all of the beds are made up, so no need to BYO (mentioning this because other reviews said there wasn't enough - this was definitely not the case for us) - There is hand soap but no shower stuff so do BYO shower things - The hosts are very responsive and helpful so definitely reach out to them with any questions before or during your visit! - Some of the downstairs lights are operated with a key which is a little unusual (but not a problem once you figure it out) - The kitchen is well outfitted but you might have to look around for some stuff since it is unlabeled - There aren't many bar tools so you will want to bring your own if you're going to be mixing drinks - The internet is perfectly adequate for a big group to all connect their phones for lighter use (we did not attempt heavy use so I can't say one way or the other). We had at least 17 devices with at least one streaming video. Uploads were slower but nobody had issues loading pages or sending messages. - Most people will not have cell service at the house so the internet is especially helpful
