My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Tobyhanna! The house was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. Its location was ideal, just a short drive from the beach, tennis courts, basketball courts, and only 15 minutes from some of the big business. Yuriy was incredibly responsive and provided fantastic recommendations for activities in the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway!

Great time

This place is beautiful and with 8 bedrooms was perfect for our large group. The owner was excellent to deal with, Returned any requests or questions in a timely manner. We took the extra few minute drive to tobyhanna state park beach and that was well worth it. Great suggestion from the owner ! The play room was great the kids and teens had so much fun hanging down there. Would definitely recommend this place for large groups.

Do not waste your money on this rental! There were multiple issues when my family of 13 and I stayed there. The house was not as clean as we hoped, it looked like nothing was swept and definitely nothing was mopped. There are no box springs on the beds so multiple beds broke during our stay. The beds and couches were also not very comfortable. The basement floor started filling up with water and the carpet let out water when you walked on it. There are holes in the doors and walls that haven’t been repaired. Many of the doors are squeaky and have a hard time closing. The pot filler doesn’t work and the dishwasher started leaking when we ran it. After all of these issues, the host asked if we would give him a 5 star review if he let us check out late. Half of my family left a night early because the beds were so uncomfortable so we did not take him up on his offer. The is the worst rental experience we have had and there are many issues that need to be fixed immediately.

Family Getaway

This house is a wonderful property. Plenty of space for everyone including the kids. I had a group of 14 adults and 5 children. I don't know who had more fun in the game room- the adults or children lol. The showers were AMAZING!!! Bring beach towels if you plan on going to the pool or beach. The only negative thing was the check in process. It took over 3 hours due to the amount of people checking in that weekend. Hopefully that was a fluke and not the norm.

VERY DISAPPOINTED:Pros:•Gated community•Plenty of sleeping quarters/operational bathrooms•Updated kitchen with nice island•Very nice REC room•Backyard grill, many chairs to sit on•Quick response time for complaintsCons:•Gated community with some rundown homes with poor curb appeal.•Swimming pool located a mile away/12.00 per day per individual •Poor curb appeal with unkept lawn (Yard littered with rocks, bricks, trees limbs and logs.•House advertised as “brand new”; however, built in 1987; recently remodeled. •The living room space is very limited but appears large in advertisement;.•Dining room chairs did not match but were replaced upon our complaint; Two worn and stained couches removed after our complaint; one was replaced. oSome of the window blinds were broken and curtains were bent •Mattresses were very uncomfortable/one bed suffered a broken leg while guest were asleep.•Bed linen was stained as were the mattresses - Went to Walmart to replace them. oOnly two televisions in who house - living room/REC roomoBasement floor had water seeping at bottom of stairs which lasted for our last two days - mold on basement shower floorboard (Same complaint mentioned in an earlier review)

Beware- property is not as described at all. This house does NOT accommodate 24 people- the couch maybe fits 2 people total. There is not adequate seating at all and the home is not brand new, as it says in the description. There is construction debris outside. There is a terrible odor that is being masked by bleach.
