Saint-Etienne-en-Devoluy cottage rentals

No pictures that you see will prepare you for the jaw dropping beauty of this area of France. My husband and I traveled there to visit a friend and the charming cottage became our base for exploration. We found it spotlessly clean and comfortable. In the kitchen are all the tools you will need for preparing delicious meals. (visit the market in Gap on Saturday buy your supply of wine at Bertrand and have lunch next door at Bouchon!!) You have a nice private yard and picnic space just outside the cottage and there are very gentle walking paths nearby, especially one just down the road that follows a canal. Your very helpful hosts can direct you there or to one of the more challenging mountain hikes. Then no worries about a crazy retrofitted bathroom that you so often find in Europe. The shower area is down right luxurious with two sinks a spacious tiled shower and heater to keep you cozy. There is also a washing machine for your laundry. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property and can't wait to return. Pearl and Bob

Nous avons passé une semaine à la Petite Maison avec nos enfants pendant les vacances d’hiver. Sur la liste des envies avant de partir il y avait : randonner en raquettes, skier, se lever en regardant les animaux, bouquiner au coin du feu, manger une raclette… mais aussi aller au cinéma et à la piscine ! Paris tenus ! Grâce à la situation idéale de la Petite Maison et aux conseils avisés et attentifs de Thomas, nous avons fait tout cela et bien plus encore. Nous reviendrons c’est sûr !
