We had a delightful stay at Lallibroch over an extra long Melbourne Cup weekend. The property was easy to find, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well appointed. There were ample supplies of cutlery and crockery in the kitchen, lovely bed and bath linen. A pleasant fully-enclosed "deck" adjoins the kitchen/dining area and is perfect for a well-trained pooch to relax in. It was also lovely to have meals with the open windows and doors allowing plenty of fresh air in, protected from the insects by flyscreens on the windows and doors. Photos on the web are accurate. There was plenty of space for the dog to run around outside and the property was well-secured. A delightful cottage garden was on one side of the house, with a large grassed area and firepit/seating area on the other. Friendly goats on the neighbouring fence came over to greet us. Next door to Pomonal Estate winery/micro-brewery, the house has a wonderful view of the Grampians, within walking distance to the local Pomonal General Store/cafe/fuel stop and a 15 min drive to Halls Gap. Stawell was an easy drive from the property as well. Helga promptly replied to all queries and was lovely to deal with. Highly recommended. The four bedrooms, ample living space inside and out would easily accommodate a large family, or several couples.

We spent 2 nights here. Barry the owner was helpful and proactive - called us prior to trip to give us some info and made no extra requests of us (some other holiday home owners had strict demands!). Fantastic location just a short 3 min drive away from Halls Gap centre. Great for family of up to 9. We only had 5 of us and a dog, so there was plenty of room. Log fire kept house warm. Full kitchen. Huge lounge with games/books/vinyl record player/Wii to entertain young and old. Hot showers. On Day 2, we walked to Halls Gap town centre with our dog for brekkie - 3km on way leaving us perfectly hungry for breakfast. Fully secured backyard so we could leave our beloved dog safely while we went out for our hike. We ate at the lovely 4-star pub across the road - walked there in 5 min. All our 3 kids aged 10-13 loved the house and asked to come back again. Suggestion for Barry - we spent a bit of time looking for your address - 14 Clematis Rd, it doesn't seem to be listed anywhere and we had to Google it separately.

Good for family and kids

Lovely propert. Comfortable. Great hosts. Surrounding areas are beautiful and cute town.

Great place for grandparents and family. There was a master bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Lovely sofas downstairs with multiple living areas and a huge dining table. Great barbecue. The property was great for walks with our dog, outside seating. Lots of wildlife wondering through. Would definitely book again.
