We recently stayed at the "Ritchson House" over Christmas while visiting family in the area, and it was nothing short of exceptional. This beautifully renovated Modern Farmhouse masterfully combines its Colonial roots with a chic Mid-Century Modern interior, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere that felt like home from the moment we arrived.The first floor is a delight with its unique touches, such as the black-lit map of the universe in the formal living room and the dining room's versatile sound system. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed for holiday meals, and the media room was a favorite spot for relaxation and catching up on work with the convenient desk setup.Upstairs, the bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable queen beds that ensured restful nights. The bunk bed setup with its own TV was perfect for kids, and the large bathroom with dual sinks was a great bonus for our group.The house's charm extends to its exterior as well. The front porch and backyard provided tranquil spaces to unwind, and parking was a breeze with both a driveway and street options. The location couldn’t have been better—situated on a quiet street yet close to local conveniences and attractions.The thoughtful renovations and attention to detail made our stay incredibly comfortable. Stayed for a long weekend with some friends. Pretty easy trip into downtown Pittsburgh where we were able to catch a pirates game. This house had everything! Couldn’t have asked for anything else I’d give six stars if I could.

Four bedrooms give privacy and plenty of room for activities at the rental. The hosts were very supportive to our needs and went above and beyond on various courtesy’s. Family members when getting to their homes thought the Innisfree Farms Estate House was a great vacation to spend and enjoy the facility. They wondered how we found such a enjoyable stay.

This home is beautifully cozy and feels like home! I really enjoyed all the thoughtful details and the charm of the 19th century character it holds. I spent the evening on the front porch swing admiring the dogwood tree and watching the sunset - truly a breath of fresh air! Marsha was an incredibly kind and communicative host and you MUST go to her restaurant across the street! It was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.
