  • Arrow's Run Cottage (upstairs) is amazing!

"My boyfriend and I booked Arrow’s run cottage (upstairs) and it was an absolute dream!! It was clean, spacious and everything was decorated beautifully. We couldn’t get over all the amazing art all around the house and the ceiling to floor windows which made for an amazing view of the ocean across the road. There was a lovely huge deck out front and plenty of beach accesses points right across the street. Could not have picked a better place for a getaway. Ralph and Rocky were lovely, we met them when we rented mopeds from them down by the marina and had an absolute blast exploring the island! We also had the pleasure of meeting their daughter in law Christa who we met first when we arrived at the cottage. Everyone was very helpful in making sure we knew where some of the destination spots were and all the good beaches. Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a getaway. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer!"

  • Somewhere we'd aspire to live!

"My best friend and I recently spent 3 nights at Amata for our annual girls' getaway, and we could have easily stayed a week ... or more! The suite is fresh + comfortable, lovely, full of thoughtful touches, and equipped with everything you might need for a short trip away. It also stays quite cool on hot summer days! Jason + Brett are welcoming and kind hosts, and truly made us feel as though we were at home. We thoroughly enjoyed simply sitting around on the deck with our morning coffee - which opens out onto their beautiful garden - listening to contented bees buzz amongst the lavender and watching deer and fawns amble happily around the property. We liked that it was just far enough off the main road, but still quite close to Ganges, and otherwise pretty central to getting around the rest of the island. The view at the top of Mt Maxwell is well worth the drive up. If you're around on Saturday for the famous farmer's + artisan's market, do go early! We also highly recommend one of Brett's yoga classes in the pyramid, it's accessible for yogis of all levels. We usually don't repeat locations for our summer getaways, choosing to visit somewhere different each year, but we are already contemplating a return to the calm + beauty of Amata again next year!"

  • Wonderful oceanfront location

"We stayed in the Terrace Suite at the Ganges Beach House for a week in August. The location was perfect for us! We really enjoyed being so close to town to be able to walk everywhere and yet still have an ocean view from the house and the deck! This was our first stay on Salt Spring Island and we hiked and toured around the island every day and it was wonderful to have such a comfortable home and deck to return to at the end of the day. We even bbq'd fresh salmon a couple of times! We were moving on to another island for the next week, so really appreciated the washer and dryer at the end of our stay. We would highly recommend Ganges Beach House!"
