  • nautical theme a joy for sailors

"We were 2 women in our 60's and on the island in the rainy season. The cottage was just the right size for 2 of us but the steep set of stairs up to the second bedroom could be a problem for older folks and small children. We did not get to enjoy the outside but the little private deck with a barbecue is a great addition for summer. Lovely views out the front windows. Wood burning fireplace would've been great but there was no kindling. Razali was a welcoming host."

  • Wonderful and comfortable home away from home!

"My husband and I so enjoyed the amazing view of the harbor from living and kitchen areas. Perfect walk to Ganges, shops, JJBeans for coffee etc. including Saturday market. A little longer walk to rent bikes and whale viewing but no problem at all. After spending 6 nights we are sorry to leave. All our needs were taken care of including a welcoming plant! Anita and Doug"

  • Location, location, location!

"Our adult family of 6 enjoyed a week's stay at this charming, rustic panabode with beautiful views of Montague Harbour. The sun set directly in front of the deck where we enjoyed our dinners each night. It is certainly peaceful and serene. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. The decor is 70's time warp - which is part of the fun (remember cassette tapes?) The owner is very easy to deal with and answers your queries promptly. One minor problem is there is only one shower in the house and it is downstairs (the main living area and two bedrooms are upstairs) - so it was a bit of a scramble to have 6 adults scheduling showers. You are walking distance to the harbour where you can rent a boat, have lunch or rent a kayak. You are also walking distance to the best restaurant on the island (PILGRIMME). We enjoyed the resident heron who was on the dock each afternoon."
