  • Clean, Fresh Island Retreat

"Four of us sisters on our annual sister's trip, thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in this nautically styled condominium. Although located in the small town of Vesuvius, it was only a short 10 minute drive to the hub of activity in Ganges. The weather was cold, windy and rainy during our stay so the condo was a welcoming warm place to return to after exploring the Saturday market. We were happy to spend the rest of the day in the comfortable living room playing games and enjoying each others company. The kitchen came well equipped with all that was needed for the meals we consumed there. Two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with a queen/single bunk bed) furnished very comfortable sleeping arrangements. With four women sharing the accommodations, we really appreciated the two bathrooms - it made getting ready in the mornings that much quicker! There was unanimous agreement - this was the perfect property for our Salt Spring stay."

  • Great little spot

"This pretty little cottage is all it say it is. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable and cozy. The cottage has a beautiful little view from the deck and front windows. Razali was very welcoming and is close by if something is needed. We look forward to going again."

  • Peaceful and relaxing

"This is a lovely suite on gorgeous SSI. The hot tub is great and I did an eye-opening physio session with Brett in the pyramid--he also does private and group yoga classes. The hosts have a lovely garden and the setting is very private. Highly recommended and a short drive to everywhere on the island."

  • Cozy and rustic. Perfect mix of nature and conveniences of modern life!

"I absolutely loved my solo stay in this cozy little cabin and it was the perfect place to retreat to on my first visit to Salt Spring. It was tucked away far enough from town that I felt like I was in nature but it was still only a quick drive down to Ganges (less than 5 minutes). I met with the owner as I checked in but my privacy was respected for the duration of my stay. The cabin was a tiny bit more rustic than I expected from the photos but that made me love it even more. The bed was extremely comfortable as other guests have mentioned and it definitely allowed me a good night's rest. Very soft. I was delighted that on both of the mornings, multiple deer nibbled in front of the big windows and I was constantly hearing birds and the sounds of nature. The sun hits the deck perfectly in the afternoon. It is a few minute drive to the Mt. Maxwell which I would recommend for some amazing views (fairly steep road with deep potholes in order to get up though so be prepared). I would fully recommend this getaway spot to couples looking for some alone time or anyone who needs a break from the bustle of life. I stayed for two nights but I felt like it wasn't quite long enough. I would love to come back! Terrific hospitality. I miss the HappiNest already!"
