  • Lovely, comfortable view home with amazing art to enjoy!

"Denis and Carolyn have generously and graciously offered their home to the rest of us to enjoy. It is well equipped and ready to accommodate. The views of the water are wonderful. The moon setting over the water creates a vision we'll worth photographing. Cow Bay is a quaint small fishing village that is so fun to explore. The Masthead restaurant is a fine dining venue that we have enjoyed several times over the past several years. We tried the Cow Cafe for the first time this trip. It's a casual spot offering a varied menu. We ate there for lunch twice and we're pleased both times. Seagate offers a home away from home and is a great place to relax, as well as being well located to explore and enjoy the beautiful countryside and environment. The Thrifty grocery store nearby offers all the usual but good sushi and a great bakery and cheese selection as well. My husband tried his hand at fishing on the river at Duncan. Didn't catch any fish but enjoyed having the opportunity to try:) Enjoy your time here and thank you Denis and Carolyn!"

  • Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

"My wife and I came to Salt Spring for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have been any happier with the cabin and our interactions with our hosts. The rustic cabin still boasts a top notch little kitchen with all of the necessary cookware and utensils, nice furniture and a fantastic soaker tub. There are electric baseboard heaters, and plenty of chopped firewood to keep a fire going in the wood stove. We were given plenty of space and privacy, which we wanted, but our hosts immediately responded to any questions and offered to help with anything we needed. We will absolutely come back for a long weekend in the future!"

  • Cozy stay in vintage-style suite on Salt Spring

"We had an amazing stay at the guest house. The suite is spacious, kitchen fully equipped and we especially enjoyed the sunroom. With big windows, a wood burning fire and fir trees all around - we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere - but were only a 15min walk from town. Susan was especially helpful and accommodating - offering to pick us up from the ferry and giving us a ride to and from town to get groceries (before we had access to our rental car). She allowed us to check out late to align with our ferry. The photos don't do the suite justice - it's a really amazing space. Incredible value as well! Thanks for making our stay on Salt Spring a memorable one!"

  • The cottage was really great. It was exactly as the listing described and even better.

"Christina's cottage has everything one needs for a get away or a working holiday such as I had. It really felt like home. The owner was responsive to everything and made the stay really enjoyable. I would most definitely stay again."
