  • Cute little place with Fabulous location

"My husband and I stayed in this suite for 5 days. We enjoyed our stay and the suite comes equipped with everything 2 people need. The kitchen is on the small side but works great for making a small meal for 2. Something to note is there is no microwave and no drip coffee maker, just a French press. Overall it was very clean and tidy and very comfortable. It is a historic home that has been converted to multiple suites. You can definitely hear your neighbors and on the Saturday night our neighbors had a gathering of people at their place and it was very loud, and we had to compete with their party to be able to hear the movie we were watching. Bed was comfortable, however the pillows provided were HORRIBLE and we ended up purchasing our own as they were not tolerable. Wifi and Netflix are included which was nice when you just want to relax for an evening and watch a movie. The location on this suite is fabulous. We loved being within a 5 minute walk of everything downtown. We walked downtown every evening and had dinner and ice cream on the boardwalk. Parking is included which a huge bonus. Within a 5 minute drive of grocery stores so really easy to pick up food. Loads of shopping within walking distance as well. You are truly in the heart of Charlettetown. I did not hear from the owner before our stay and had to contact VRBO to find out the check in details, which was a little frustrating, but once we had that sorted out everything went smoothly. Overall we would recommend staying here."

  • Rustico Bay was a Treasure!

"What a peaceful getaway! We loved our time at the Rustico Hideaway. Owners Chris and Susan went out of their way to provide everything we needed - and then some! The apartment was charming, cozy and offered beautiful water views. Everything is brand new, and the welcome basket was a wonderful touch. The beds were lux, the hot water plentiful, and it was the perfect spot to relax. It was quiet and peaceful, and we loved hanging out on the patio, enjoying meals, and the peaceful surroundings. Our only complaint was we couldn't stay longer!"

  • Beautiful Character Home, Great Location

"My wife and our three boys (aged 4, 7 and 9) had the pleasure of staying here for a week over Canada Day. It was great to be on a nice residential street and yet walking distance (literally within a few blocks) to all of the main attractions in Charlottetown including Victoria Park where all the Canada Day festivities took place, the shops and restaurants along Queen Street (Cows Ice Cream was 2 blocks away), the harbour, the theatre were we saw the Anne of Green Gables musical, The Lieutenant Governor's House, Beaconsfield Historic House, and many other interesting and historic sites. But the best part about the house for my boys was the pool in the back yard, which they used all hours of the day. There was also a trampoline in the front yard that provided additional enjoyment for them. There was a great seating area by the pool as well where we ate meals and relaxed - we never ate our meals in the house because it was so nice outside in the back patio. The house inside was very chic, in the sense that the owners took care to blend style and functionality into a heritage home without sacrificing the character of the house and property. We had a wonderful vacation there and would definitely rent it again."

  • Breathtaking view, clean and close to everything

"From the moment we drove in, we knew we had found a little piece of paradise. The all around view was breathtaking The cottage was homey and had everything and more that we needed. Having our coffee outside in the morning, hearing the birds and even seeing eagles. Sitting by the outside fire at nite and falling asleep to the quietness and sounds of crickets. We were very well received and a phone call away if anything was needed. Without a hesitation This is the cottage we are going to come back to. Pierre and Dale"
