  • Paradise in Tortola

"We spent a week at this beautiful home with our daughter and some family friends. From the minute we walked in the door we were in paradise. The home has the most spectacular views from every room, the pool overlooks the beautiful water that Tortola is so well known for. Villa Dulcinea is immaculately kept, there are plenty of towels and linens. The beds are so comfortable and there is A/C in all of the bedrooms. The outdoor showers are an added luxury as you take a shower and listen to the birds singing. We went out to eat at some of the local spots but honestly just loved cooking in, the kitchen is well equipped and there is an amazing grill on the patio. The owner is very helpful and sends detailed information with many tips about grocery stores, car rentals, and much more. The caretakers are readily available if needed. We plan to return to this amazing home again soon!"

  • BVI June 2016

"We returned to Summer Heights as the location is wonderful for us a couple of doors away from my cousin and to enjoy the peace and serenity of the BVI and magical views. We were celebrating our daughters 21st Birthday and therefore wanted everything to be special. Indeed it did not disappoint Everything in the Villa that you could possible need is there for you too enjoy. The large ensuite bedrooms with air-conditioning and Mosquito blinds comfortable double beds with the option of two single beds in one bedroom. Games Cd’s and a computer in the lounge was also another added bonus. There are plenty of books to cover every literary taste and plenty of local magazines offering very useful information about the Islands, boat hire and restaurants. The large utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer are very useful if you don’t want to pack too much to take with you. Although we did not cook that much we had the use of a cooker microwave and very large fridge freezer. Had we of wanted to we could have probably catered for the whole Island with the amount of crockery and cutlery in the Villa. The pool is a must in the heat and we made good use of it the friendly pool technician maintained this twice a week for us. A particularly good feature was that it had pool lights on all night just in case of sleep walkers I guess or youngsters wanting a midnight dip! We left Summer Heights with sadness that we could not stay longer but we have met and made many friends and our memories of a wonderful holiday here will live on."

  • Perfection........

"Hi Jon, I’m sorry that we did not have more time to chat as we were a bit rushed getting out.  I wish I knew earlier that our flight was delayed!!! I just wanted to let you know what an incredible time we had at Limeberry Villa.  The place is fantastic!!!!  The accommodations were everything that we could have hoped for… and more.  The views of Long Bay and Smugglers Cove below and Jost Van Dyke off in the distance are second to none!  Coffee in the morning never tasted so good as I sat and enjoyed the view and watched the islands come alive as the sun rose over Tortola.  And the “Happy Hour” sunsets….WOW!!!  Words cannot describe it!!! I also wanted to thank you for your assistance in transporting our group back and forth to West End upon our arrival and departure.  It saved me some extra trips over “the hill” and allowed our arrival and departure to not be so rushed.  It was GREATLY appreciated!!!  We are hoping to get back in the Spring with some friends who have been “itching” to get back and a couple “newbies”.  Hopefully Limeberry will be available when we work out the dates.  We would LOVE to make Limeberry our “go to” Villa as we always like to stay a few days on Tortola post sailing.  Thanks again for everything and hopefully we will be seeing you again in 2017!!! Cheers! Mark"

  • Wonderful Spot !!!

"My wife and I stayed at the Van Dyke House June 4-11, 2016 for our 10 Year Anniversary and had a wonderful stay. The view from the house is fantastic ! I have nothing but great things to say about the Van Dyke House. AC in Bedrooms and Dining areas worked well. Pool was fantastic ! The house was close to everything and very private. We explored Long Bay, Smugglers Cove, Brewers Bay, Cane Garden Bay, and Rogues Bay on Tortola. Rogue's Bay was challenging to get to but well worth the effort ! Saw Lobster and eels at Brewers Bay. I highly recommend Brewers Bay and Rogue's Bay for those who are looking for a more private beach. We also took a day sail with Captain Luke on the Lion Heart Sail Cat (one of the Aristocat boats out of Road Town). I would highly recommend this trip ! We sailed to Salt, Cooper and Peter Islands. Snorkeled and dove on the wreck of the Rhone and saw everything... Barracuda, Tarpon, Turtles, Sting Rays and more ! We ate at most of the local restaurants. Our favorites were Sebastian's at Long Bay (Fish, Lobster and Rum were fantastic) , Bananakeet, Myett's at Cane Garden Bay. We also took day trips to Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke. We got to meet Foxy and enjoyed his Rum drinks and ended up at The Soggy Dollar Bar for some fun in the sun and Pain Killers. The trip could not have been any better ! We just didn't want to leave. Sam and Sharlene were very helpful with the house questions and jeep rental. I recommend a 4WD Vehicle if you plan to really explore Tortola ! We can't wait until we return !"
