  • Great central base camp to visit Provo

"Great communication and support. So many inclusions (bikes, snorkling gear, beach chairs, cooler, ombrella, local cellphone, beach mats...). Very welcoming experience and affordable experience on the island, even more if compared with any "beachfront" villa. We totally felt like it was our own cottage, nothing is missing. Its also greatly appreciated that they provide a island cellphone and that someone is alway reachable for any questions or recommandation. We felt secure and confident and not "left alone on the island". If you want to see around, you have to get a car anyway, even if you rent a beachfront unit at 20x the cost. Driving in provo is safe and as the island is small, you can (and will want to) see it all. This cottage/villa is centraly located, so you can get ANYWHERE within 15 min or less. Food is good everywhere on the island, but restaurants are on the expensive side. Our meal routine was: 1) breakfast at the cottage, 2) for lunch: high end sandwiches, salads and wraps to go from Graceway Gourmet (thanks for the supplied cooler and ice packs!), 3) dinner most of the time at the cottage (new Weber BBQ at your door, and full kitchen inside). Good and affordable food. Beaches are incredible, it's great to just reach in the cooler, open a beer and grab a sandwich right there in your own cooler. No need to leave the beach and wait an hour to get lunch in a restaurant. . We would totally go again, next time with the whole familly in both the villa and cottage :-) Cheers !"

  • Return to paradise!

"Our family of 8 plus a 9 month old, stayed here for 1 glorious week. Pictures are exactly as we found the property. Lots of room inside and even more around the pool. Everyone could gather poolside comfortably, whether you wanted sun or shade. Hammock got good use, however the porch swing no longer exists. The area is secluded with almost no boats or people. Pure relaxation. We did run the air at night in the bedrooms to help with high humidity,. The extra charge at the end of the week was $70. The main house remained cool without airconditioners running. We cooked breakfasts and a couple dinners, and the kitchen is well equipped for large meal prep. Also multiple tables to surround for meals, inside and out. The detached bedroom suite was perfect for the couple with the 9 month old. (Bring your baby monitor) because it was quiet and away from noise in the house or around the pool. You will need to rent a car, or in our case, a van. They drive on the left and our van actually had the driver seated on the right. The road to the house is very rough, and requires a slower pace, but you soon adjust to just taking it easy. Graceway market is an easy drive for supplies. It's more expensive than the states, but well stocked with everything you need. One draw back I think is that the water in the house is not drinkable, so you must buy gallons and gallons of water for everything from making coffee & ice tea to making baby bottles. I think the owners would/could help this situation by buying a water dispenser and large water bottles. We had a dozen gallon jugs, full and empty laying around most of the time. The owner has beach chairs, umbrellas and a few other beach items for guests use, which was nice. We did have to buy a small cooler for the beach days. TV provided all the channels we are used to, but picture quality not so hot. We only watched tv to see a couple NCAA games. We did go to the Thursday night festival at the national park. Lots of food, vendors and music. Worth the trip. This was our 3rd trip to Turks and Caicos and 3rd house we've rented. We love being away from the big resorts and tons of people. This is cheaper in the long run and so much more enjoyable. This house and its location made it a winner for our family. Activities are easy to arrange if you want to do them, but the house is a great way to spread out, relax, cook and enjoy the peaceful view outside every door and window. The pictures don't lie. This is a beautiful property!!!!"

  • Great Condo in a Great Resort and Location

"We just got home from a week in TCI and everything, including this condo, was perfect. We were amazed at how everything we needed was squeezed into this compact unit. Steps from a beautiful pool and just a little further to the beach. It's also an easy walk to the Ocean Club West and the stores (including the new, big grocery store) and restaurants in that area. The staff at the resort were consistently very helpful and friendly. We ate at the Ocean Club's Opus restaurant the first night and several times at the grill by the beach. Both were very good, although like everything in T & C, very expensive. The food next door at Ricky's Flamingo Cafe was very good too. You can buy a thermal bag at the grocery store and the bellman will fill it with ice so you can take your own drinks to the beach. Nothing negative to say, we'll book this condo again when we return."

  • A Perfect Vacation!

"Our family of 6 had the most enjoyable week at this private home on Parrot Cay. With a few tweens and a teenager we didn't know if they would have enough to fill their days with. The relationship with the resort gave us the best of both worlds. The resort offered a pool to use, tennis courts with racquets available, a library with computers and a pool table and food that was spectacular. Our family ended up eating most meals at Hodge Lodge because the view was unbeatable. Laying in the porch hammock listening to nature and the kids laughing at the beach was priceless. To wake up in the morning, with a cup of coffee in hand and walk to the water, find sand dollars, and see not a sole was a highlight. The staff was incredibly professional and easy to be around. We would recommend this vacation to anyone of all ages. We can't thank Hodge Lodge for opening their home to renters. We will be back!"
