Friendly and helpful hosts. Well equipped cottage in a quiet location especially ideal if one of your party is a wheelchair user or can walk limited distances. We were given some eggs laid by Cherry and Jerry’s hens - a lovely touch.

House with character in great location

We loved this little house. It has been tastefully renovated without losing its character. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfortable. I was a bit worried that the road in front would be noisy but it got very quiet at night. The house is literally across the road from the park which has some thermal pools and a thermal foot bath We have stayed in lots of places during our tour of the North Island and this has been our favourite so far.
