Loved this house right by the lake, house if very roomy and homely. Went for a family adventure weekend. Rob was excellent with his communication and also information folder at the house. Was beautifully clean with every thing you could possibly want. Location, short walk to stores. Short drive to Eat street.Tucked away and so nice and quiet, great off street parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly use it again.

Beautiful cottage to spend a few nights in Rotorua. Cottage is well appointed, an easy 15 minute walk to eat street, and easy to navigate to area attractions. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Rob and Nerida’s lakeside home was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand. The house was exactly as described—comfortable, well stocked, safe, and perfectly located for everything we wanted to do in Rotorua, while still tucked away down a quiet little lane.The lakeside setting was idyllic. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset, along with the ducks, geese, two beautiful swans, and even the noisy seagulls we nicknamed the “Loud Americans” (it’s okay, we’re American). The neighboring homes only added to the charm. My favorite spot was the long window bench in the master bedroom overlooking the lake—it was VERY hard to leave in the mornings!The kitchen had everything we needed, and there were even 8 kayaks available for guests.What truly made this stay exceptional were Rob and Nerida. They went above and beyond to make my husband and me feel welcome, with a thoughtful welcome gift, local recommendations, a detailed house binder, and even personalized information for our stay including weather and a greeting.Some rentals are simply places to sleep; this one became part of our trip. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation.

Amazing property

The property is absolutely gorgeous, the host goes above and beyond, and there is an abundance of equipment: towels, kayaks, heaters, sky tv, etc. Our stay was wonderful!

This is a beautiful home. The decor was of a very high standard with a very well equipped kitchen. Really comfortable beds and large bedrooms. Great washing machine& dryer. The host Rob was absolutely brilliant when we were stranded by the tropical cyclone heading straight for us and did everything he could to make sure we were safe. The house is right on the edge of the lake, with great views and plenty of kayaks for everyone. I can highly recommend to his home for your vacation. Excellent.

Perfect spot to relax

We couldn’t recommend Rob’s house more highly. He has thought of everything to make for a super-relaxing and comfortable stay. The kids loved the kayaks, and the view from the main bedroom and decks is stunning.
