Mauritius house rentals

We have just returned from a wonderful vacation in Mauritius and were fortunate enough to spend a few days at Casa del Montoc in True D'eau Douce. This is a wonderful property and can't say enough what a great time we had there. From the booking of the villa and advise before arriving the communication with Sophie was first class. the check in/out process was very simple and we also received some very good restaurant recommendations and tips for our time in True D'Eau Douce. The walk from the villa to the beach is 60m down a secluded sandy alley and if required there are 2 beach front hotels not more than a couple hundred metres along the beach to enjoy sunbeds and drinks. The villa is a little bit out of the village but we found taxis to be very reasonable and there are plenty taxis around.The villa itself is really charming and a great place for a family. A lovely large deck area for dining, having a drink, playing games etc and the bedrooms offer plenty of space.I can thoroughly recommend Casa del Montoc!

From the very first contact with Chantal, to the last, her professionalism and kindness cannot be beaten, along with her lovely cleaning lady, Jocelyn who can also cook on request. Fantastic amenities, including kayaks, beach towels, thoughtful welcome pack and fruit, landline, the list goes on and on. The property itself is gorgeous and suited our large group beautifully. The location right on the beach is wonderful with beautiful swimming and snorkelling, and good winds for kite surfing too!, right on the door step. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!

What a lovely place Villa Belifage Verte is! We loved every minute of our stay and can highly recommend it. First of all, the propriataire Françoise is a real gem - she is a very nice and lovely person and responded in a very timely manner to all our requests. By coincidence, we could meet her personally and it was a real warm meeting and she provided a lot of tips for our stay. There is also a team of housekeepers on spot are just lovely and show up every other day (or as you'd like) to clean the house, pool, garden and even offer to cook dinner if you want - we took them up on their offer two times and it was absolutely delicious (real local creole cuisine)! The Villa Belifage Verte itself is a wonderful place in the small, but cozy village Albion at the west coast of Mauritius and fulfilled all our desires: it's a big villa with an amazing pool, lovely garden (with beautiful flowers and coconut palm trees), a huge patio for breakfast, lunch and dinner, great and big bed rooms (3), two bath rooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge. For us, everything was there. Also, we had a rental car (highly recommended for this place but also to be able to discover the island, even though the bus system is working well), and you can park it easily inside the huge garden in the shadows of palm trees (automatic garage doors, which is very convenient). If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Mauritius a bit away from all the touristy places, we can highly recommend Ville Belifage 'Verte'! You can't ask for a better host than Françoise nor a better team on spot - thank you for everything! Five stars++!
