  • Absolutely beautiful inside and out.

"The accommodations were clean, modern with everything we could have possible needed on our three night stay. The views from the patio were stunning, mountains and the lake, we thoroughly enjoyed this place!"

  • Great view, want to stay here again!!

"Our extended family has vacationed in Colorado every summer for years but we had never been to Grand Lake until this past August! Loved the town, the lake, the proximity to RMNP and the condo itself couldn't have been more perfect! It was so nicely furnished, well-appointed (the owners have thought of everything you might need and already had it there) and so CLEAN (very important to us)!!! We felt very much at home and loved sitting on the porch looking over the lake. A quiet and beautiful complex! We would definitely stay there again. Absolutely wonderful condo and the Kochs (owners) were so great and easy to work with!"

  • Cozy, comfortable and quaint.

"We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortably warm we were in this little cabin with chilly temps outside. The bed was comfortable and it was nice we could have our little miniature Aussie shepherd with us. The cabin was clean especially in the kitchen but it was evident that pets had been allowed in the cabin. The shower is very tiny so anyone very tall would have some difficulty but we are average size and did fine. Rest for us was needed so we didn't venture out this time but it's nice to know how CLOSE Rocky Mountain National Park is, just up the road a very short way. We were close enough to walk into town even in the snow. Customer service was excellent, very accommodating even as they faced repair of frozen pipes. It was ready when we arrived. We would recommend this to friends and family and would even like to plan a family get away and rent 2 cabins . Our host's response to our initial inquiries was prompt and very pleasant. Overall, very pleased with our stay."

  • Great House, Great Location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group staying at Ryan's Retreat had 6 adults and 5 kids. We had enough space for everyone to have comfortable sleeping areas and were really happy with the bunk room for all of the kids. The house was very comfortable and had several spaces for people to gather. Two suggestions would be to put blinds or curtains in the downstairs room with the pullout couch if it is being used as a sleeping space. Also a card table and chairs would be great. The house currently has plenty of space for sleeping, but not enough "eating" areas if a large group ate altogether. That being said, we would stay here again in a heartbeat! The location is just a couple of minutes from Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. We were able to golf, go horseback riding, hike, and enjoy the quaint town without traveling far at all. We loved our time here and the management was wonderful to work with."
