  • Family Visit

"We just wanted to thank you and let you know that our family had a wonderful time at your lake home. Your home had everything that made it a comfortable living space and very convenient to cook. We cooked most of our meals in the well equipped cabin. We did have a lovely Friday night dinner in town at The Terrace Inn. We saw a mother moose and her baby everyday either at the salt lick or down at the lake having a drink of water. We even saw a young male moose! Everyone caught fish ranging in size from 12" to 18". We also enjoyed the canoe and boat. You also have the best pier on the lake which was nice for the 6 of us. So many different areas to enjoy....the pier, the swing, the porch and deck, the loft...nobody ever felt crowded. We appreciate how easy you are to work with and thank you so much. Sincerely, Mr & Mrs C and family from Denver"

  • Perfect Family Retreat!

"This home was perfect for our large family get-together. Adults and children alike were pleased with the comfy accommodations! The cousins loved having their own "bunk" room to have a space by themselves. We had the option of being separate or being together with plenty of room to spread out There was everything we needed for cooking meals and lounging at the house, and it was just a short walk to the lake. We took advantage of the fire pit in the back yard to make smores and relax after a day playing in the mountains. Beautiful! We'll be back!"

  • Amazing place to stay!!

"We just returned from a wonderful week at the boat house. It was everything we thought it should be and more. The location is unbeatable...quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of town with amazing views and every bit of recreational activity right out the door. We have every intention of making this a yearly trip and coming back to stay each summer. The two (small) things I would note here: the wifi comes from the owner's cabin next door and we found it totally unreliable so don't count on it (but you're probably not booking this place based on availability of wifi). Also, there is a note inside that the tap water comes from the lake and while they take multiple measures to purify it, they don't guarantee its safety. I would guess that the water is safe to drink but you should know this beforehand if you want to bring bottled water so you don't have to go back out to get it. Other than these two small points, we couldn't have had a better stay and can't wait to come back next summer!!"

  • Family Fun

"The Log House is a beautiful picturesque property. Everything was clean and well maintained. The sleeping arrangements were good, the kitchen was well equipped, wifi and TV were good, the hummingbirds were entertaining. We saw fish jumping and several varieties of lake birds. We enjoyed time on the lake and used the canoe, pedal boat and row boat. We brought our own paddle boards. The location had convenient access to Rocky Mountain National Park and the town of Grand Lake. The rental fit our families needs inside and out."
