  • Wonderful Experience

"This is such a beautiful property! We loved every minute of our stay here and really didn't want to leave. We saw a baby moose being nursed just a few feet from the back deck! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city with family. Plenty of space and everything you need. Can't wait to go back."

  • Worked great for our family vacation

"This cabin worked great for our three generation family vacation. The layout with two bedrooms and bath upstairs and two bedrooms and bath down stairs allowed for each family unit to have their own space. We were mainly interested in vacationing with small children , ages 6, 3, 2 and 3 months. The baby's bassinet even fit into the laundry room for his own room. The yard and proximity to the Columbine Lake Playground were a plus for our little ones. Grand Lake playground and beach were also very close. Trail Ridge Road was just a few minutes away. Adams Fall and Lake Irene Trails in RMNP were easy for our young hikers. The cabin was well equipped and very clean. The outdoor space was beautiful. It was close to things but seemed very private. We had a great time!"

  • Cozy cabin five minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park!

"Our family of five really enjoyed our five nights in this cozy cabin on Columbine Lake. The cabin is small, but the layout is very efficient and practical. The front and back porches provide additional living space in the warmer months, which we utilized daily. The western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is a mere five minute drive away--which made nightly evening entries to the park for short hikes and amazing wildlife viewing opportunities an absolute breeze. We saw huge herds of elk, several moose, a couple of foxes, and an adorable little pika! And there is a huge bull moose who wanders around the neighborhood--such a treat to see him on a regular basis. We enjoyed an inexpensive and tasty breakfast buffet at the Grand Lake Lodge, with great views of the lakes below. We took several fun short hikes in and out of the park, and spent one full day driving through RMNP to Estes Park. The short hikes in the alpine areas were amazing, with beautiful wildflowers and expansive views in all directions. The town of Grand Lake is quaint and fun. We highly recommend this cute cabin and location!"

  • Amazing 4th of July Getaway!

"This house was absolutely stunning. Perfect from the moment we arrived and exactly as described. They had every utensil/cooking item you could possibly need, and there was plenty of room to accommodate the 9 of us. My kids loved the giant hill of a backyard, and we enjoyed the daily visits from the hummingbirds and deer. Plenty of activities like Adam's Falls, Estes Park, horseback riding or boating nearby kept us plenty busy when we weren't soaking it all in at the house. The overhang perfectly blocked the rain as we spent most of our time loving the gas fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet, and we even got to see the milky way while we enjoyed the stars. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking a Colorado vacation. Perfect from start to finish."
