  • A great place to stay

"We loved Hilltop House. It was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very large and functional. At times there were three of us preping for dinner without bumping into each other. The views from the deck are awesome and made evening happy hour very enjoyable. Beds were comfortable. Grand Lake is a great little town and Rocky Mountain National Park is right down the street. We hiked every day. Would highly recommend this home."

  • Great Time at Moose Track Manor

"Great trip to the Grand lake area and Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). Rod did a great job providing very detailed information about getting to the house and how everything in the house worked. I have stayed at many rentals and never had such a nice package of information. Very well done and helpful. The cabin was easy to find. It was clean, large, and well decorated. The setting on the lake was very beautiful. It provided great access to the west side of RMNP and a beautiful drive across Trail Ridge Road to Estes Park and the eastern part of the park. The location was perfect for us as it was more relaxed and less touristy on the Grand lakeside with easy access across. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the living room warm and inviting. There was plenty of room to spread out but the house also felt intimate, warm, and inviting. Very close access to a RMNP visitor center and lots animals in the area including several large herds of elk within a mile or so of the cabin. I would highly recommend Moose Track Manor to anyone traveling to Grand Lake."

  • Great Getaway for Family Fun

"We love this property. It's located on the private and secluded eastern shore of Grand Lake, with terrific views and short walk to a great hiking trail. The kitchen-dining-living room space is all open, which makes meal prep and serving an easy and collaborative activity for a large family. The home is a little rustic, and the carpet and plumbing is badly stained, but it is comfortable and relaxing. The large fireplace in the living room really works-- it throws out great heat on chilly Colorado nites. Our kids had a great time, and our labrador could not have been happier. We'll be back!"

  • Amazing mountain getaway!

"This was our first time in the Grand Lake area and it was so incredible. We were so glad we chose to head this direction vs. enduring I70 on a holiday weekend - and we lucked out in finding this gem. I believe this property is what the original vrbo concept / experience was intended to be. The home is well appointed and loved and you feel it from the moment you step in. It has so much personality! We had six adults and six kiddos in our party and we had plenty of space. The younger kids loved the play area and games in the loft and the older kids enjoyed doing their thing in the basement. The adults kicked up their heels with coffee and/or cocktails on the back porch and took it all in. We were able to rally around the fire pit on our last evening and take in the stars, which I can still see when I close my eyes. Wow. Thank you for such a lovely weekend away from city living."
