  • Worked great for our family vacation

"This cabin worked great for our three generation family vacation. The layout with two bedrooms and bath upstairs and two bedrooms and bath down stairs allowed for each family unit to have their own space. We were mainly interested in vacationing with small children , ages 6, 3, 2 and 3 months. The baby's bassinet even fit into the laundry room for his own room. The yard and proximity to the Columbine Lake Playground were a plus for our little ones. Grand Lake playground and beach were also very close. Trail Ridge Road was just a few minutes away. Adams Fall and Lake Irene Trails in RMNP were easy for our young hikers. The cabin was well equipped and very clean. The outdoor space was beautiful. It was close to things but seemed very private. We had a great time!"

  • Wonderful Experience

"This is such a beautiful property! We loved every minute of our stay here and really didn't want to leave. We saw a baby moose being nursed just a few feet from the back deck! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city with family. Plenty of space and everything you need. Can't wait to go back."

  • Peaceful relaxing and close to town

"My family stayed at the cabin for a week in July. We visit Grand Lake often, to hike, canoe, kayak, etc. Normally we find a cabin on the hill in town because we like to walk to coffee in the morning, but Grand Lake's growing popularity made it impossible this trip. So we took a chance on this Columbine Lake cabin. It was a great choice---not only was it peaceful and quiet, we could still walk into town for coffee. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the water pressure was strong, the neighbors were nice---perfect. If you are coming into the Grand Lake area from Granby, remember to stock up at City Market before you head to the cabin!"

  • Family Fun

"The Log House is a beautiful picturesque property. Everything was clean and well maintained. The sleeping arrangements were good, the kitchen was well equipped, wifi and TV were good, the hummingbirds were entertaining. We saw fish jumping and several varieties of lake birds. We enjoyed time on the lake and used the canoe, pedal boat and row boat. We brought our own paddle boards. The location had convenient access to Rocky Mountain National Park and the town of Grand Lake. The rental fit our families needs inside and out."
