  • Big, Absoultely beautiful house. Peaceful surroundings. Awesome river behind the house.

"Dutch's house was exactly what we were looking for. Really beautiful house with very comfortable beds. Nice sized kitchen for cooking, etc. Nice, big deck for hanging outside. Beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings outdoors. The river was so much fun to trounce around and play in. We had a great time in the river swimming, kayaking and playing in the waterfall. Dutch was very easy to communicate with and even helped us get ESPN on the television. As we arrived, we realized we didn't get that channel and upon requesting it, Dutch called up the company and set it up for us. That was truly special as it allowed us to watch the Georgia game. As huge Dawgs fans that meant a lot to us and helped make the weekend even more special. It was three days in serene beauty and quiet paradise. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thank you, Dutch."

  • Late fall weekend in Dahlonega.

"We booked the Cabin for the weekend of 2 - 4 December 2016 as a place to stay while our grandson auditioned for the Georgia All State Jazz Band. There were 4 of us, so we would have needed three hotel rooms. The cost of the Cabin was about the same, actually a little less, than 3 rooms while having a full kitchen and incredible privacy and quiet. There were only two negatives, one was the distance from NGC to the cabin, but I knew how far it was no real problem. The other was a rooster that crowed ALL THE TIME, not just at dawn. If he had been closer, and I stayed one more day, I had dinner planned."

  • Highly recommend this amazing location, home and owners!

"Just returned from an 8 night stay and hated to leave. Traveled with husband, two teens (15&17) and three small dogs. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the location and the kids rediscovered playing Monopoly at night! House was fully stocked with everything you'd have at home including all cooking needs (even a crock pot, hand mixer and electric griddle), lots of towels, washer and dryer, tubes for the river, wi-fi, dish tv, comfy beds, fire pit on the river with four adirondack chairs, a charcoal grill and a huge lawn. no carpets so no worries with the dogs. House was very clean and well cared for. The house is right between Cleveland and Dahlonega, so as close as you can be to everything in the mountains (close is relative term in the mountains!) Carol and David were so sweet and wonderful to work with. no need for 4x4 in the summer. looking forward to a future visit!"
