  • Fantastic stay at the Eldorado J219

"This was our 6th stay at the Eldorado and our first at Steve and Linda's place. It was great! J219 is extremely comfortable and has a location that cannot be beat. The unit is equipped with everything one needs and more. Steve was an amazing host, checking in by phone with us when we arrived and leaving us a bottle of wine. The view from the lanai is beautiful. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Fun!

"The good: Great location, great size, tons of beach toys, nice outdoor patio, great TV for those late night movies with the kids, early check in, not far from beach, close to shopping and restaurants, small market within walking distance, great new kitchen with everything you need, large bathrooms, and the owners were great to communicate with. Pools are close - one is closed for construction but other is just out the front door and great for the kids. The not so good: Toilet in smaller bathroom would sometimes take a few flushes to flush, the dryer stopped working on the last day, plan on buying your own toilet paper and paper towels if you have a large family as they don't supply extra. I wish you would consider changing this and just go to Kmart or Costco and have a supply for your guest. The ugly: Bring the febreze or candles because it is very musty smelling. I am not sure if it was the carpet or the curtains or what but the smell almost knocks you over when you enter the unit. To me I would furnish paper towels and toilet paper for my guest. You can go to Kmart or Costco and buy and big package and keep"

  • Fantastic stay- GREAT condo

"What a find! Having grown up in the islands, Kaanapali has always been my favorite part of Maui and up until now, we have usually stayed at one of the hotels in the area. This was our first time in a vacation condo and the experience could not have been better thanks to its prime location, spacious accommodations and great upkeep. The place looks like it was recently and thoroughly renovated and the bedrooms and bathrooms are huge yet comfortable. Every room has direct access to the large lanai with its sweeping view of the golf courses, the ocean and the island of Molokai. We loved the nearby cabana, equipped with a kitchen, where we lounged beachside. There are several pools on the property to choose from and a fun variety of restaurants within walking or easy driving distances. From premises to provisions, the couple who owns this condo does a first-rate job. Alan is attentive with one of the most thorough welcome packets I have ever seen. A very minor maintenance issue was taken care of immediately. It is clear that he and his wife take loving and constant care of their condo. We will definitely seek out this particular unit again the next time we visit Maui."

  • Amazing!

"The condo unit is beautiful, comfortable and ideally located for a Hawaiian getaway for us mainlanders. The views are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed grilling fish at the condo and watching the sunset as we ate dinner on the lanai. The beach is a 10 minute walk or a quick cart ride. The condo has all the beach accessories and beach has towel service, so you are set for a day on the beach. The ocean is rough and there wasn't a lifeguard, so I would caution those with littler children to watch them carefully near the water. Our kids love pools, so we tried all three pools on the property. The pools hidden on the other side of the complex are small and cozy. The pool over the garage unit is a little barren and run down, but totally functional and great for our louder young child. The property is next to all the great places to eat and shop, they even have a free trolley service around Kaanapali. I can't say enough good things about the property. I would definitely watch out for the concierge who tries to sell you tickets to activities around town. We ended up looking online and getting those same activities at 25-50 percent cheaper. I made a complaint and got a refund. I recommend the Hyatt Luau, quicksilver snorkeling and submarine ride. They were all well worth the online price! Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to come back soon!"
