  • Perfect for Families

"We just got back from a 1 week trip and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Our party included my husband and I, our 2 young daughters, and my grandparents. Every morning, we woke up and ate breakfast together on the lanai. The outdoor dining table is perfect and seats 6. We walked and looked at other condo lanais and we decided we had the best. Most only had seating for 4 and some were only conversational seating sets. We loved the fact that we were able to walk right out to the grass and beach. My daughters spent a lot of time doing cartwheels and picking up plumeria flowers from the lawn. The beach directly in front of the condo isn't overly impressive but if you go to the left, you will see it open up. The boardwalk also begins to the left of the condo unit. I enjoyed running the boardwalk during the morning hours. It's much less crowded than the boardwalk south of Black Rock. Property wise, the only thing that I think that could be better was if there were black-out curtains in the guest bedroom. The windows in that room face the parking lot and at night, headlights beam straight into your dark room. It didn't seem to wake anyone but myself though. Overall, we loved the condo and the location. We can't wait to stay there again. Aloha!"

  • An amazing stay

"This was our first VRBO experience. Sarah and Michael were helpful and quick to respond to any questions before or during our stay. The condo was amazing. We stayed with another couple and the condo was perfect for this, bathrooms give a nice separation between the two bedrooms. The view from the lanai was gorgeous. We loved just sitting and enjoying the view, the whales and sunsets were amazing. The binoculars were lovely too for whale watching. The kitchen is gorgeous and everything we needed was there. Super clean and well cared for. The complex was also lovely, beautiful grounds and the BBQ was right close by for dinners. The beach right at the bottom of the hill was one of our favourites on the island, great snorkelling! An amazing and relaxing vacation. Thanks Michael and Sarah!"

  • Perfect place to stay on Maui!!

"Everything about this wonderful home and it's owner/manager are exceptional. The home has everything you could think of or need. Our stay included my husband and I, our 14 year old daughter, my adult son and his wife, another adult son and my mom. As you can imagine, we had a wide range of ages and interests and this home was perfect for everyone. My mom has a disability which requires a cane and this house was fine for her. The pictures are accurate, unlike many other advertisements for rentals. The neighborhood is quiet but central to beaches as well as day trips. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend this rental !!"

  • Great room, lanai, resort and support

"The room did not disappoint. It was clean, current, open, with a great lanai and view. Honua Kai offered exactly what our family was looking for, with 4 pools, enough pool chairs, and good poolside service, food and drinks from Duke's. The fitness facility was adequate, but a bit crowded at times. The beach isn't as big as it used to be, but was also less crowded so it worked out fine. We look forward to our next visit, and would recommend Hokulani 409, Honua Kai, and Maui Westside to others."
