  • Great home and location. Could use a few tweaks.

"This lovely home is not on the water, but in a beautiful secluded spot nearby. The home is large and has several beds. The master bed and bath are grand, as are the living/dining area and deck. The downstairs has one large BR with two queens plus an additional BR with bunks. The downstairs bath is basic and a bit of a walk from the bedrooms. The kitchen is large and reasonably well equipped. When we arrived on a cool evening the main floor heated up well but the downstairs was very slow to warm. There is a nice pellet stove centrally located downstairs but there were no instructions and we couldn't be sure how to get the pellet feeder to work. When we tried turning on the fan for the pellet stove the switch shorted out so we gave up. The master bath is impressive but only one of the two shower heads in the large shower would function and neither the shower lights nor the lights over the jacuzzi would work. We also found that lights on the deck didn't work. Water pressure was spotty: the kitchen sink was the worst - only the spray hose had decent pressure. With these fixes this home would be excellent."

  • Christmas Getaway - Excellent Property

"We rented the property for a post-Christmas holiday weekend. It was perfect for our extended family group of 12. The home is clean, updated and fully-stocked with all the kitchen items, linens and paper products you would need. The home has 3 bedrooms, (2 with King-size beds, 1 with a bunk bed) and multiple pullout sofas. The "mother-in-law" unit is a short walk from the house- it has a sofa bed on the main floor and a loft with a full size bed. The property is very secluded which makes it tricky to find but the privacy and quietness can't be beat. We were lucky to stay at a time when there was an abundance of snow-the driveway and walks were cleared when we arrived. Easy drive to Schweitzer and Sandpoint. It would be great in the summer too! Mike, the property manager checked in daily to see if we needed anything. And what a nice welcome to find a bottle of wine and snacks on the kitchen counter when we arrived. I truly have nothing negative to say about the property. We would not hesitate to stay here again!"

  • Enjoyed every minute!

"This condo was perfect for our family get-together. My only regret was that our stay was only for three nights. Wish it could have been much longer! 5 adults were very comfortable in this tastefully appointed condo with a beautiful view of the lake. The weather was perfect in mid-October, and we enjoyed walks on City Beach and to the shops in Sandpoint. What a great location! With a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and three bedrooms, this condo was much more comfortable and more conducive to family bonding than any hotel could have been! Highly recommended to anyone!"
