  • Wonderful Cap Cod Vacation

"My wife and I took our 4 children to Cap Cod for the 1st time, on our family vacation, and we stayed at this house. While it's only a 2 bedroom house, we were very comfortable in it and had no problem with sleeping or space. The master bedroom suite is amazing! The grounds of this property are beautiful, and extremely peaceful. It's also located very conveniently in Dennisport, with beaches, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing all within a short drive. So we loved staying here. We were able to spend the day at the beach, and come back to this house and completely relax.....because of how quiet this location is. The owner was extremely friendly, and very accommodating. She was willing to help with any request or question we had. She even took time out of her day to show us all the locations attractions, when we first arrived at the house. Perhaps the biggest example of Deb's accommodating manner is how she let us take our 5 month old black lab puppy with us to stay at her house. Most rentals do not allow pets, making it very difficult to plan a vacation with a pet that we wanted to vacation with. So not only did we find an incredible location to stay at, but we were also able to include our entire family! Overall, we had a fantastic vacation, in a fantastic location. And Deb did everything she could to ensure our stay was.....well, fantastic!"

  • a great vacation!

"Marie's home was great! It was clean and everthing about it was perfect. We loved the backyard. Every afternoon we would relax out there and play ladder ball (which we brought with us). Marie provides so many amenities...beach chairs, boogie boards, games, books... We also loved that it was on a cul-de-sac. The kids loved riding their scooters and the neighboorhood kids joined them. The screened in porch was so nice to eat dinner in and the outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. Marie was so nice and her home was lovely! Thank you again! We can't wait to go back next year!!!! Heather"

  • Vacation Home Away From Home

"July 2017 will be our 11th year renting this cottage with the last 10 being consecutive years. The owners continue to upgrade the cottage with the latest being a complete redesign of the kitchen 4-years ago with new refrigerator and stove. A/C (window units) have been added to the master BR and LR/DR areas-certainly helps when those warm and humid days/evenings show up. There are ample fans in the other two BRs to allow for comfortable sleeping. The bed rooms can sleep 7 people with a queen size bed in the master BR and 2 and 3 twin beds in the other 2 BRs (great for visiting family). Kitchen and dining areas are adjacent to each other and there's a comfortable LR with a flat screen TV. Internet access is provided which comes in handy, particularly for those who must combine work with their vacation. Three years ago, the owners added a gas grill to complement the built-in charcoal grill on the patio, an excellent addition! The cottage is 1 of 5 cottages in a quiet setting of the main road (Sea Street) and, if you're an ice cream lover, just a 3-minute walk to the Sundae School Shoppe. Sea Street Beach is just a 1/2 mile walk. While parking at the beach is sufficient, the short distance is a good thing because parking is expensive on a daily basis ($20/day and $25 on holidays). Traffic is typical for a tourist vacation area during the season; however, with a little pre-planning it is very manageable. There are ample restaurants in the immediate vicinity ranging from fast food to quite nice-all within 20 minutes. Several supermarkets and fish markets are close by (~20 minutes). There are movie and stage theaters close by and the Dennis South-side Civic Association provides free concerts every Tuesday on the village green in which mostly local talent plays all kinds of music. Adjacent Harwich has their Town Stroll during the season in which all shops are open and with various bands playing different music on nearly every street corner. Whale watch and seal watch outings are nearby. Hyannis is but 30 minutes away. Taking Rt 28 in late afternoon or early evening can be a challenge. P-town is about an hour away while Woods Hole and the National Oceanographic Institute and museum is about a 90 minute drive. Ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard depart from nearby Harwich or Hyannis. It's a great cottage that will help provide a memorable vacation. The owners are an easy phone call away and are very responsive to any concern."

  • Wonderful house in a great location

"We rented this house for a long week-end with 2 kids. We had a very good time! The house is very comfortable and big with 3 spacious bedrooms. The kitchen was very convenient and right near the patio so it was perfect s we ate outside all our meals. We used some of the beach toys and the beach is so close we could go by foot. We also loved the outside shower for when we came back from the beach. We had a perfect time in this very quiet house. Jerry was very helpful, sending us back a deposit check 2 weeks after the rental. He was really easy to communicate with and very nice. Perfect experience! Marion and family"
