  • Awesome home. Convenient to everything.

"We had a great time at Captain Jack's to attend a graduation at Mass Maritime then stay a week. The location was perfect. The home was excellent. Very lovely furniture, wonderful beds and everything you could possibly need in terms of appliances, dishes, pots/pans. The owners were awesome. Would highly recommend to anyone attending Academy events. Yard is great for family games and fun time. Short drive to ferry and beaches. Easy ride to National Seashore. Easy day trips to Boston and Provincetown. We echo the previous review about this being the best property we have stayed in. Thank you to Crystal and Joe."

  • Relaxing New England oceanfront getaway!

"We enjoyed a relaxing mid-August stay at this beautiful oceanfront property. Our group included 8 children under the age of 7 so we especially enjoyed being steps away from the beach, the large yard for the kids to run around in, the basketball court, and the close proximity to the hiking trails at the wildlife sanctuary. The golfers in our group enjoyed being right next door to a golf course. The ocean water was surprisingly warm and the kids enjoyed walking out to the shallow sandbar. Despite the heat, there was always a nice ocean breeze and every bedroom faces the water (be aware though that the house doesn't have air conditioning). The location of the house is excellent for avoiding Cape bridge traffic. We also did a day trip into Boston which took us about an hour and a half with traffic. There was not much to see or do in the town of Wareham, but our group preferred to hang at the house anyway. The grocery store is a 5 minute drive away, very convenient. All around it was a great stay!"

  • Charming historic house near everything

"My wife and I and our 3 adult children stayed and had a wonderful time. The house is very charming and quaint with plenty of room for the 5 of us. It is within walking distance of downtown Chatham, a small beach, grocery store and across the street from the Cape Cod league baseball field. Just to note, there is one AC window unit in the upstairs bedroom but the breezes off of Oyster Pond kept the house fairly cool and we were there for a hot and sticky week. As noted by others, the outdoor shower was a hit as were the gardens. Janet was a wonderful host."
