  • Quaint and roomy cottage.

"Great old house with lots of charm in a perfect location. We could leave the kids to roam the beach area while my wife and I took the quick drive down to Saugatuck for shopping, etc. Turn key with towels, ample kitchen and dining, and beach gear all at the ready. Overall a great experience."

  • Welcoming and well-maintained with everything you need, perfect location, great for families & dogs.

"We had a wonderful week at Hotel Bob in August 2016. Our kids (ages 5&7) loved the beach, which has a great sandbar enabling you to walk pretty far out into Lake MI. We used the kayak, the bikes, a scooter, the boogie boards -- the cottage had everything we needed. Our dog romped in the water early each morning and collapsed for a nap in her crate while we enjoyed the sites of Holland. TV and internet worked well; we didn't miss the Olympics! And the open-plan cottage was perfect for hosting aunts and uncles for board games and dinner. I was especially impressed by the welcome that we received from the other members of the cottage association. It's a testament to the owners' relationship with their neighbors that we greeted cheerfully by everyone we met. They clearly trust Lynne and Peter and were not at all standoffish or resentful of us as renters."

  • Very cute, clean, perfectly located cottage!

"The cottage was immaculate and nicely updated. We really loved the front deck and sat out there in the morning and evening. Refrigerator was nice to have because we bought bread and treats from the nearby De Boer's Restaurant/Bakery, that we had for breakfast a couple of mornings. Close walk to Ottawa Beach Inn, which had great burgers and not too far to the 250 steps of Mt. Pisgah to work it off! Great, quiet neighborhood and we took walks every night. Would definitely come back! PS, Bob (owner) was very accessible and responsive when we realized that we had forgotten a couple of items - he mailed them to us immediately - very nice!"
