  • Great family accommodations! Baby gates inside and on upper deck make it pretty kid proof

"Location great to both Tunnel Beach and Holland State Park. Bike/walking/running path right out front door. Biked to Grand Haven and also through Holland to south side of lake Macatawa. Wished there was another large garbage can. Left a big can of garbage for incoming renters :( because garbage day is Thursdays. Nice new Weber grill and large table for 8-10 for outside dining. Kitchen is stocked with great utensils/pots/pans/muffin tins/etc. Wished they had more dish towels. Only had 2 so we used lots(too much) of paper towel. Cooling A/C alittle uneven. Quite cold lower level and warm upstairs. We left outlet plugs for upcoming "little guests". Not related to rental but we were told at Tunnel Park annual passes for 3 cars were good at all parks. Then at Holland State Park we were told this type of pass not valid. So we had to spend more $$ on passes. Private beach usage was not available due to erosion. DeBoers for breakfast and bakery items. Blueberry picking at Bowermans. Ottawa Beach Inn was fun to walk to and sit outside. Short drive to Itty Bitty Bar. Great menu and fun atmosphere! Worth the drive !!"

  • Great House & Perfect Location

"We were in town for a wedding and choose to use VRBO instead of the hotels that other family members were at. We had 2 family in the house and had plenty room. Everyone had a bed, the house had more then enough pillows, blankets, towels and sheets. We really enjoyed the hot tube and the outdoor space. The recreation room in the basement with ping pong table and pool table, with board games everywhere. 2 kayaks for use with transport wheels. The house became the place to be, and that was not our plan but it worked for everyone. It was really hard for everyone at the hotels to meet, so it was perfect. We did have 2 issues with the property and I made one phone call and both were fixed in 1 hour. My only wish is, I wish we could have stayed longer. Kevin"

  • Lovely Cottage

"We enjoyed our stay at the perfect little cottage, its name sake stating it all! Everything is provided, with thought given to detail when stocking home! Cottage was clean and homey, I especially enjoyed the landscaping and views of water. AC worked great, nice hot water, good water pressure, beds were comfortable. The fireworks were an added bonus our family enjoyed from the living room! This cottage is located within 15 min of about any shopping that can be imagined ( make sure to check out the farmers market and down town shopping...one of a kind) The cottage is also ideally located for outdoor activities...beaches, nature preserves and bike/walking paths are all close and easily accessible. We highly recommend this cottage!"

  • Quaint and roomy cottage.

"Great old house with lots of charm in a perfect location. We could leave the kids to roam the beach area while my wife and I took the quick drive down to Saugatuck for shopping, etc. Turn key with towels, ample kitchen and dining, and beach gear all at the ready. Overall a great experience."
