  • Truly is a charming casita

"The casita was indeed charming, cozy and comfortable. Quite cute and well appointed. A very nice base of operations for our two week stay. The Kiva fireplace was nice to have on our several cold mornings and evenings. Comfortable bed and big closet in bedroom as well as chest of drawers and desk. Bathroom quite satisfactory with a good shower. Compfy living and dining area. The kitchen had nice appliances and was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots/pans, etc. In general the casita was nicely appointed with quality architectural features. Nothing cheap or chintzy about it. Even though it sits close to owner's house there is plenty of privacy. For horse people there is even a nice horse, Smartie, in the paddock adjacent to the casita's front courtyard. Smartie enjoys attention and carrots. Very nice views of the Sandia Mountains and easy access to the Bosque (woodlands) along the Rio Grande River. Nice trails for running and dog walking. Speaking of dogs, the only negative, pretty minor, is that the neighborhood has an overabundance of dogs which, when we walked our dog, created barking bedlam. Fortunately, the dogs tended not to bark when unprovoked and very little at night. In fact, the nights were pretty quiet and peaceful. The owners' dogs were quite friendly and no problem. Corrales is a funky artsy and horsey village with several good restaurants and shopping fairly close by. We would definitely stay there again."

  • Awesome setup, especially for families traveling with kids.

"Stayed 3 nights during a soccer tournament, and really enjoyed the stay. Awesome set up outside with fire pits, playground, hot tub, and the game room was a big hit with the kiddos. Lots of eateries and activities very close by. Jeff was very accommodating, too. Planning on a return trip, possibly next year same time."

  • Girls Weekend to reconnect and relax.

""Quiet and Private Old Town Comfort" was just as it is described! We had a wonderful time enjoying Old Town that is minutes away and yet being able to sit around the table for a game night. The townhouse was very spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. We would stay here again and recommend it to others coming to visit Albuquerque."
