  • We were right at home.

"We enjoyed the beautiful casita. It is truly a home away from home. One glitch with the satellite tv we wanted to watch one night, might have been the weather. It was a stormy night. Very comfortable bed--made for restful sleep the 4 nights we stayed."

  • Heaven On Earth!

"Over the years, we have enjoyed many properties through VRBO but Hacienda de Reza is by far the absolute best. There are so many things to experience right on the property - walking the Rio Grande, watching the tranquil fish in the koi pond, feeding the chickens or the alpacas, or just enjoying a swim with a glass of wine while the steaks are cooking in the outdoor kitchen. There are four outdoor fireplaces to enjoy on a cool night as well as four indoor fireplaces. The kitchen is a chefs dream with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal and the master suite is so quiet, we didn't even hear the thunderstorm. I actually slept through the night every night! John (the on-site caretaker) is amazing and very willing and helpful to answer any questions we had and we enjoyed having Shadow (his dog) greet us and join us for walks. Corrales is a wonderful village that reminds me of Glen Ellen, CA - great restaurants, shops, slower life, it even has wineries. I can't say enough about this amazing property and can't wait to visit again. So happy we are within a few hours drive. This is the only property to rent in the Albuquerque area, as far as we are concerned, if you are looking for relaxation and rejuvenation. Just leave your worries at the gate!"

  • Perfect!

"The house is lovely, and very comfortable for 2-4 people. 3 of us stayed a week at Casa Roma to attend a conference in Albuquerque. The house is exactly 1 mile to the conference center--a very pleasant walk--and convenient to old town also. We found the house very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The open plan of the house and one small bathroom might be a challenge for some who did not know each other well, but it was just fine for us. My only suggestion would be to have better light in the bathroom/dressing area and another mirror. We had to move the makeup mirror to the back of the house for light, and the only full length mirror is a little hard to use (we were often elbowing each other out of the way). David was an excellent host. When we had a snafu with the internet, he made sure it was fixed ASAP. If we are lucky enough to visit ABQ again, Casa Roma would be our first choice!"

  • A perfect place for our vacation.

"Charming Old Adobe on 5 acres is the perfect description of this property. So peaceful. This truly is a special place. Living room so tastefully done with wonderful items of the south west. Everything you possibly need is here. We were greeted by the owner Bill. A class act gentleman. One day sitting in the patio I had visitors. A frog. A road runner. Two squirrels and a lot of birds. Who could ask for more. We are already planning our next to this magical place. Chuck and Lorene Coto de Caza, Ca."
