  • Great value, all you could ask for!

"Six of us (grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, 3 and 5 year old) rented this home for a week. The owners made the rental process very easy, owner's mom lives about 5 minutes from the property and manages it, so if any problems, they are taken care of immediately. We had a plugged toilet, called to report it and within a couple of hours, handyman was there to fix it. (Three bathrooms so this was in no way a hardship!). This is more than a cottage on the lake, it is a home, full of comfy furniture, fully equipped kitchen, areas to go to to be alone, read, etc., laundry, and a lovely screened in porch and deck overlooking the beautiful lake. The home was spotless, had anything we could think of to make our stay perfect....and is only a 5 minute drive to Penn Yan to pick up groceries (TOPS) or NY style pizza (CAMs). We loved our stay and would love to stay again!"

I'D DEFINATELY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE FOR THE MARATHON, GREAT LOCATION TO DO SOME SITE SEEING AND THE LAKE IS BEAUTIFUL, JUST TO SIT AND RELAX!"

  • The perfect lake cottage

"Twin Pines is the best place we’ve stayed on Cayuga—the perfect balance of charm and function. The owners have thought of everything to insure a comfortable stay. The cottage is beautifully situated with gorgeous views from both floors. You never feel far from the lake. The beach is terrific. Plenty of sun, but lots of nice shady spots as well. Great for beach fires and star gazing at night. It is a short drive to Trumansburg for groceries and some really nice restaurants. It's also close to Taughannock Park with its spectacular gorge. We could not have asked for more."

  • Fantastic home with stunning views is a huge crowd pleaser!

"My 5 friends and I came for 3 nights on Columbus day weekend. The house exceeded our expectations. It was lovingly decorated, had stunning views of the hills, and was very comfortable. The house was located very close to wineries, parks, lakes and Farm Sanctuary. The cedar hot tub was wonderful! The smell of the cedar was so therapeutic, and the star gazing excellent! We came with our 3 tiny dogs too. They loved having a fenced in yard to run and play! All in all it was a great weekend for everyone and we can't wait to go back! While we never met Katya she was always available by phone if we had any questions. Thank you Katya for allowing us to share your little piece of paradise!"
