"OMG !! AWESOME PLACE TO VISIT. I WILL START WITH THE HOUSE, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE AND EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED.TIM AND KATHY ARE FABULOUS TO WORK WITH FROM START TO FINISH. THE LAKE IS AWESOME, SO CLEAN. WE TRAILED OUR OWN BOAT AND ALSO RENTED A PONTOON BOAT FROM PREMIER RENTALS WHO WERE ALSO AWESOME. THEY DELIVERED THE BOAT AND PICKED IT UP. WE RENTED WAVE RUNNERS FOR A DAY FROM 77 WATER SPORTS, ALSO FABULOUS. BEST VACATION EVER. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO AND WILL RENT THIS HOUSE AGAIN. THE VIEW OF THE HOUSE WAS AWESOME. THE HOT TUB WAS A PLUS BUT WE WERE OUT ON THE LAKE ALL DAY. RENT THIS HOUSE DONT PASS IT UP YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH THE CHOICE."

  • Nice stay

"The log cabin was large enough for our family. Bedrooms upstairs were hot, though and bunk beds on bottom floor were cold to sleep in. Main level was a comfortable temperature. Need a little more lighting in bedrooms upstairs. We did see a mouse on the bottom floor one evening but it is a lake home so we were not totally surprised. The outside dock and upper deck were very nice. Fire pit is very pretty but it was too hot to light a fire during the week we were there. Lake Norman was beautiful. I would stay at this house again when visiting the area."

  • Well kept lake house with amazing dock

"Our family of 5 enjoyed our week long vacation on LKN. The house was perfect. It was clean and well stocked with towels and plenty of board games. The pool table in the basement added to the entertainment, also. However, most of our time was spent outside. The covered dock with 2 slips was easy to get a boat into. The deck was perfect for watching the sunset and listening to the sweet sounds of the south (tree frogs, crickets, etc). The house is located for easy access by land (with grocery and shopping near by) and by boat (the public ramp and our favorite restaurant, The Blue Parrot are both close by). The cove that it is located in provided a perfect place for everything from before breakfast boat rides, to getting all 3 kids (even the 6 y/o) up on a kneeboard. We plan to come back next year!"

  • Relaxing and fun

"We wanted a place where we didn't have any worries and could relax. We decided on Sheltered Cove so our daughter and son in law would be able to visit. They were able to drive from Charlotte a couple of days. The house was wonderful it has everything you could possibly need. We spent most of our time when not on the boat resting on the screened in porch overlooking the lake. I was happy the house had a washer and dryer so didn't have laundry to do when I got home. We will spend more vacations here. Our daughter loved it too and are planning to stay at Sheltered Cove in the future with some friends."
