  • Wonderful, quiet lake house. CLEAN and cozy!!!

"This owner had one of the cleanest and well-thought out homes I've rented. All of the little details in the home were spectacular. We used the kayaks, peddle boat, canoe, lawn chairs, grill. Lake water was warm and clean. Not far from stores and other attractions."

  • Relaxing and fun

"We wanted a place where we didn't have any worries and could relax. We decided on Sheltered Cove so our daughter and son in law would be able to visit. They were able to drive from Charlotte a couple of days. The house was wonderful it has everything you could possibly need. We spent most of our time when not on the boat resting on the screened in porch overlooking the lake. I was happy the house had a washer and dryer so didn't have laundry to do when I got home. We will spend more vacations here. Our daughter loved it too and are planning to stay at Sheltered Cove in the future with some friends."

  • Home away from home

"Everything about our stay in this home was perfect. Everything you could possibly need was there. Literally everything from salt to fishing poles were at our disposal. Between the jacuzzi, the lake, pool table, pin ball machine and outdoor kitchen...there was never a dull moment. On top of that, Chris is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. We will be back!"

  • Well kept lake house with amazing dock

"Our family of 5 enjoyed our week long vacation on LKN. The house was perfect. It was clean and well stocked with towels and plenty of board games. The pool table in the basement added to the entertainment, also. However, most of our time was spent outside. The covered dock with 2 slips was easy to get a boat into. The deck was perfect for watching the sunset and listening to the sweet sounds of the south (tree frogs, crickets, etc). The house is located for easy access by land (with grocery and shopping near by) and by boat (the public ramp and our favorite restaurant, The Blue Parrot are both close by). The cove that it is located in provided a perfect place for everything from before breakfast boat rides, to getting all 3 kids (even the 6 y/o) up on a kneeboard. We plan to come back next year!"
