  • Peaceful cabin in the woods.

"My husband and I went to Ridgeview Cabin for a first-time visit to the Hocking Hills area. The reservations were easy to make and we got a very quick response from the owners to confirm. We really liked the cabin, although it wasn't as amenity filled as some 'luxury' cabins that we have stayed at in the past in Tennesse and Georgia, but it was fine for what we were looking for...a clean, closer to home, peaceful cabin in the woods--that was also pet-friendly. We also liked that they offered free Wifi. We loved the trails right by the cabin and the close proximity to Hocking Hills. The very small town of Laurelville has a decent sized grocery store, gas station and diners. A couple of things that we didn't like were that not all of the windows in the cabin locked and that there wasn't a dishwasher or washer/dryer to use. Additionally, the hot water didn't get very hot, so I don't feel like the dishes that all the guests are using and cleaning themselves are really very clean. If we ever go back there, we will bring paper plates and utensils."

  • Wonderful little cabin!

"Would have given 5 stars but the mattress desperately needs replaced and some window coverings would be a great addition for comfort. The kitchen was well equipped, the hot tub was lovely, the owners are very quick to respond to any communication and the location is hard to beat! If you choose this place for your trip our suggestions are to try the Ridge Inn for breakfast and/or lunch and bring a non stick pan if you plan on cooking eggs or the like!"

  • The Perfect Weekend Getaway!

"We had such a nice time staying in this big farm house! Everything was exactly as described, house, grounds and hot tub were all very clean. The views were gorgeous, and the goats made us feel like we were on a real farm. Plenty of room for kids to run around in the basement and adults to relax upstairs. No complaints here, we would like to make this an annual tradition!"

  • Beautiful Cabin and Perfect Location

"My husband and I spent the first week of January at Greenbriar Cabin for our honeymoon. From the moment we walked into the cabin we knew we were going to have an excellent week. It is perfect for a getaway. It has a full kitchen, cozy living room, a balcony with a hot tub and a grill. A spiral staircase leads up into a lofted bedroom. It truly is a cabin in the woods, you cannot see the neighbors through the trees and you feel as though you are the only ones there. The balcony looks out toward a secluded forest. It is also quite convenient to get to Ash Cave and Old Man Cave as well as nearby towns, Laurellville and Logan. One thing to know is that there is no washing machine, so if you're planning a long stay, pack accordingly. Also, the heat doesn't work well, so if you're staying in the winter, bring extra layers and extra blankets."
