  • What a great cottage!

"I stayed at the cottage while traveling for work, and was there for an extended period of time. Absolutely LOVED staying at Mayberry Canyon Cottage! The beautiful cabin, finished with knotty pine walls, is nestled in a secluded valley along a babbling creek. It is stocked with anything you could want or need for and enjoyable stay. If you are in need of something additional, the owner, Doug, is close by and more than willing to get whatever you need. The screened in back porch tops off the stay, where you can enjoy your coffee in the cool morning, and a nice glass of wine in the evening. I definitely recommend staying at Mayberry Canyon Cottage!"

  • Juniata College Mom from New Jersey

"We have stayed at hotels, motels, cabins, and trailers while visiting my son at Juniata college but none of our stays compared to our stay at the farmhouse. I wish we knew about this gem of a rental before. The farm was clean, spacious, warm and had everything and more in household needs that you could think of. The sunroom/observation room was a treat. Our first night we saw a black bear in the back woods. We also saw porcupines, deer, racoons, and bunnies in the back woods on the following nights. Our dog was in Springer Spaniel heaven jumping in and out of the babbling fresh water Creek next to the property. I would like to come back for a full week to get more hiking in at the state land that border the property."

  • Great getaway

"My family had an amazing experience. There were great accommodations and outdoor activities. Both the lodge and homestead have a nice rustic feel which help you relax easily. I would suggust this for anyone who wants a mountain getaway and wants to spend quality time with friends and family!"
