  • Comfortable, quiet and secluded

"Jim provided detailed instructions on the property and excellent suggestions on the area which enhanced our stay. We found the house to be rustic but comfortable for the two of us. Newfane is well located for enjoying all that southern Vermont has to offer. We enjoyed the area restaurants, farm stands, Brattleboro shopping and swimming at Indian love call."

  • Beautiful, peaceful and charming setting. The home has character while being cozy.

"My family enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon!! My four year olds were pleasantly surprised when they found the toy chest. My 11 year old loved having his own room with a big bed! Plenty of bathrooms for our family of five. Nicely located in Newfane so close to Brattleboro and other areas to visit like the Townshend Dam. Lovely property to stroll around and everything you need in the home."

  • Absolutely Perfect!

"Our group was 4 couples and this lovely home was absolutely perfect for our New Year getaway! The house is immaculate and has everything: a FULLY stocked kitchen, tons of firewood, books, games (lots!), DVDs, CDs (loved the selection!), sleds and taboggans, a gas grill, ping pong in the garage, comfy beds, plenty of towels and extra blankets. We had a great time sledding and hiking. There are awesome floor to ceiling cubbies in the finished basement for storing/drying ski gear at the end of each day. The house is an easy 20 minutes from Stratton Mountain. The owners were great to work with. They checked in with us as our trip approached and contacted us during our stay to make sure we were all set."
