  • Quiet, clean, spacious, great for families or a girls trip

"My sister and I stayed at this rental and loved it! It was spacious with a master suite at one end of the home and the other two bedrooms at the opposite end which made for a lot of privacy and each of us had our own bathroom which is a must for girls! Riqui was so helpful! More so than any other owner of a house rental that we contacted. She reduced my stress level tremendously! And, made several recommendations, such as staying in Seattle the last night to ensure we didn't miss our flight, Sunshine Meats which had amazing smoked salmon (you must try it if you like salmon!), maps where she explained where our points of interest were located and she made recommendations based on MY interest. My sister and I loved staying there and I loved the horses which I observed and photographed each morning before our hiking adventures. I would stay here again for sure!!!"

  • We loved every moment enjoying this lovely cabin & peaceful stay.

"Four senior citizens were absolutely delighted to stay in this exceptional home. The cabin is in perfect condition & the owners provided excellent service. We haven't been able to travel for two years & we were very pleased that we had an opportunity to stay here. We would recommend this perfect retreat to anyone who would appreciate visiting the Northwest. The cabin is meticulously clean, the artwork is lovely, & the lot is perfectly landscaped. You could not ask for a more a perfect vacation home."

  • Great place to stay

"We stayed as a family in the beautiful and cozy pond cabin. Was perfeclty clean, looked pretty new and was just a great place to stay. Location is about 5 or 10min off the highway and about 15min from Port Angeles. Great spot for whale watching and for the Olympic NP. Hosts were very supportive in every way."

  • One of the most beautiful places we have ever been

"Surroundings: Incredible. The cottage is on a clear teal lake with mountains surrounding it and reflecting into the water. Truly gorgeous with a great view from the top deck, table and chairs half-way down, and the dock. We enjoyed the kayak and took it around the whole lake (1.5-2 hours). It was fun to check out the other homes on the lake while kayaking as they are very unique. Very cool spot! Location: Great for visiting Olympic National Park. Not far from the Hoh Rain forest, Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, and other hot spots that we planned to visit. There's a small general store nearby that was pretty limited and there are normal/large grocery stores in Port Angeles fairly close. The cottage: Comfortable bed, full kitchen, grill (which we used 3 times while there, nice to have), tv/internet, lots of outdoor seating (as above). Very comfy and couldn't have asked for much more. I think others already mentioned the water pressure in the kitchen sink is weak, also the burn ban was unfortunate as we could not have a fire outside in the summer per the fire department. We had no problems so did not need to contact Tammy while we were there. Her instructions for finding it and getting in were clear. Overall: Five stars all the way! Enjoy your stay at Lake Sutherland :)"
