  • Great location & fully stocked

"As with any vacation rental, you just have to know what you're getting yourself into. The owner contacted me ahead of time, warning me that it's a tight space for 4 people. It's a studio, so it sure was a tight space for 4 people. However, we just needed a warm & dry place to crash after a day of hiking. The cabin had everything we needed to recover. Fresh towels for taking a shower, dishes to make a hot meal and blankets for a good nights sleep. The location is also beautiful, right on the water and you can wake up and have a fresh cup of coffee right on the lake with a backdrop of beautiful mountains. I would say this place would be perfect for a night's stay if you have 4 people and great for a longer stay if there's just two of you."

  • Fantastic location for vacation with extended family

"We are 2 families of 4 with one set of grandparents. The cousins are ages 8-12 and loved the bunkhouse - the pool table -- the air hockey. Everyone enjoyed the the kayaks and paddle boards on the lake. We had brought our own crock pot for cooking -- but there was no need -- the kitchen was equipped with 2 -- along with anything else we might need. Even the knives were sharp -- and easily cut onions and tomatoes. We could have spend all day everyday at Lake Sutherland -- but we did manage to pull the cousins away for a couple of excursions -- and while it was hard to get them to leave -- we had a good time at both Marymere Falls (about a 10 minute drive to Crescent Lake) and at Salt Creek Recreation Area/Tongue Point for a hike along a rocky coast to see tide pools (about a 30 minute drive). Kim was easy to reach and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this location and hope we can get a reservation the next time we can head out that way with a big group."

  • The Standard By Which All Future VRBO's Will Be Measured

"This place is fabulous! My husband and I stayed for 5 wonderful nights. The quietude, the steam sauna, the hot tub, the bamboo & tile floors, the comfortable bed, the well-stocked kitchen, the books on the bookshelf, the satellite TV all added up to the best experience imaginable for me in a VRBO. We felt so relaxed after hiking in the national park. The location is very convenient to the park visitor center, Hurricane Ridge, Lake Angeles, as well as the amenities of the town of Port Angeles. We could get or do anything we wanted very easily. Our vacation was pretty lengthy, and we stayed at other places so that we could see different areas of the huge national park. We were completely spoiled after staying at Mo & Brian's place. Nothing else was good enough! She is a joy to conduct business with, too, and that made it even nicer."
