  • Wonderful Cottage in PA

"We spent the weekend in this home in Port Angeles in the end of July. It is beautifully maintained and fully equipped. Janelle was there to greet us and show us around. Our family enjoyed this house, and it accommodated us beautifully. We liked it so much we have already booked it again in September for two weeks when we'll be coming back for the birth of our grandchild!"

  • Northwest Pearl

"The apartment was very clean and nicely appointed with care and attention given for a fine, comfortable ambience. Location was superb with large windows facing the Port and many stores and restaurants within walking distance. Sea gulls crying, city hall bells ringing and occasional boat horns added to the life of this remarkable habitat. Owners, Amy and Brent Powell were warm, hospitable and professional, providing unique and exceptional customer service. The photos on VRBO, though excellent, did not do justice to the charm and practicality of this apartment. We recommend it highly for a relaxing Port habitat while visiting Olympic National Park nearby."

  • Quiet and relaxing

"This house was a perfect launching point for our first visit to the area. It was incredibly quiet--especially at night. The floor plan was great because it offered the opportunity for the grandparents to have their own space away from the rest of the family, but also provided lots of common area for playing games (which are well-stocked) and visiting. Riqui was very welcoming and provided maps, brochures, menus, and advice about the area. House has a well-stocked kitchen and was very clean. We enjoyed whale watching and the breathtaking trip up Hurricane Ridge. Our girls really enjoyed talking to the horses and watching the deer. We will definitely be staying here again."

  • Delight is right!

"We loved the cabin and setting with the meadow and trees. The cabin itself was warm and inviting and the upstairs bedrooms were cozy for the kids. We had a great time seeing local sights such as Dungeness Spit, Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, Salt Creek Recreation Area, and we drove to Rialto Beach. The last day we spent at the cabin and went up the road to access the Olympic Discovery Trail.(The turnoff is on the right into the woods, is becoming overgrown, and not marked by more than a small sign about WA State property, so don't miss it). All in all a good time--we were very happy with our choice of Hiker's Delight. Elizabeth Camano Island, WA"
