  • Great location and apartment

"Location was awesome walking distance to Capitol Hill bars and restaurants. Also a 15 minute down hill walk to down town Seattle if you are for a stroll. Loved the penthouse suite lol. We were at the very top apt. Really liked it newer decor and bed was great. Full kitchen and washer and dryer. Only thing was the bathroom tub and shower was very small or else this would have gotten 5 stars. Other than that great apt and would rent again ."

  • Million Dollar View!

"Overview This place is amazing, we loved it. It’s in a very nice part of Capitol Hill with a mix of some stately older homes and newer condos. Be aware it is in a very hilly part of town. This unit is part of a triplex and is the main floor. Angela, the owner, lives and works in the unit behind and there is a penthouse unit above. It has wonderful views of Lake Union and all of the activities going on there. It its beautifully furnished, decorated with original art pieces and has a nicely-appointed kitchen. We found it to be spacious and comfortable for our month-long stay in July. Angela is a very welcoming and accommodating hostess. We would be glad to stay again! Details The Living room is spacious and opens into a large dining room. There are full-wall windows, 360º overlooking the lake. You can see downtown, Queen Anne Hill, and the Space Needle. A small air conditioning unit cools the front when the sun shines in. (It actually hit 90 degrees while we were there, so we were glad for that!) The dining room table is very large and served as my workspace while we were there. The WIFI worked great. The kitchen is large and fully equipped: electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, microwave oven, coffeepot and every kitchen gadget, pot and pan you could ever need. If you can’t find it, just ask Angela. Sound The I-5 runs in front of the house but was not a problem for us. The front windows serve to deaden much of the noise. I worked every day with the bedroom window and patio door open, and we slept with the bedroom window open with no issues. Until you actually step outside, it’s not very loud and was more of a white noise than anything else. If there are neighbors in the penthouse above, you may hear the occasional footfall but such is life in the city. Little Things The laundry is in the basement with everything you need. There are lots of shelves and cubbies to stash your things, and two extra closets. Housekeepers came during our stay and did a fabulous job. Angela is a caring, attentive host (without being the slightest bit intrusive). Her welcoming, positive demeanor and joyful laugh are what we will remember most about our stay in Seattle. She’s not just a wonderful host – she’s a wonderful person. We should all have such a neighbor! If you don’t enjoy your stay in this beautiful home, then you’re doing something wrong."

  • Nice neighborhood close to Capitol Hill

"This is a lovely property, nice and cool, with a garden for the guests to use right out the door. The bathroom and the kitchen have everything you need. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would recommend it to a friend."

  • Lovely apartment

"We only stayed one night in the apartment, which was very spacious clean and bright with everything we needed. Ian was very helpful with our requests and always replied very quickly. The apartment was in a very convenient neighbourhood with shops and public transport nearby."
