  • Great Location and Necessities

"Capitol Hill was the perfect location for beautiful neighborhoods, close by restaurants, coffee, grocery store and to the person we were visiting. We really appreciated having the coffee there for us and all the kitchen things so we felt like we were at home. Everything was tidy and taken care of nicely. Leah left us plenty of notes so we knew where to find the things we needed. Loved having a recycling and compost too! It was also a nice quiet area, so at night it doesn't sound like a busy city, great for sleeping."

  • Great Seattle experience in this Capitol Hill home.

"This home was so comfortable to ease into as "my own home" for my short stay in Capitol Hill. The central location is exciting and offers endless options for dining and entertainment within walking distance. On site parking and the ability to hop on the light rail 2 blocks away makes traveling within the city so easy as well! The home itself is warmly decorated, and has been updated to include some very enjoyable amenities. A full house speaker system, dimming light switches, central heat/air, heated bathroom floor tiles etc... the beautiful upstairs bathroom includes a large walk in shower with excellent water pressure and a deep, lounge-worthy claw foot tub facing a small cable-ready tv for your relaxation pleasure ;) Another highlight would certainly be the Tempurpedic king size master bed, it provides a nights sleep that I swear you might come to dream of. The kitchen is large and has enough cooking supplies and pantry staples available to make cooking dinner in-home an enticing possibility. This older neighborhood home has been preserved with lots of TLC. A great fit for a family or couples wanting to get the full experience of the "Hill" with Seattle within easy striking distance. The outdoor spaces also give you a feel of privacy and openness. After braving the Seattle drizzle for cocktails and chaos on the Hill, I assure you you will be so thankful for the comforts of this cozy home! Great news was that during my stay it was blue sky's and starry nights, a truly wonderful experience."

  • Had a blast at the Fun House!

"Family and friends aging from 6 to 68 gathered from all over the country for my son's wedding and we stayed at the Fun House. It was an easy four block walk with luggage from the Light Rail's Capital Hill stop. I was especially pleased to find that the sleeping quarters at the Fun House were well separate from the living area, so that anyone who wanted to sleep could sleep while those who wanted to stay up and visit or play could do so. We enjoyed the hot tub and the back porch and the back yard table in the sun. The beds were in fact all "real" beds as described, some more comfortable than others. The two bathrooms and three showers were perfect and there was never a line. The "movie star" room as my grand-daughters aptly named it was a big hit and a big help for folks as they readied for the wedding. We are already looking forward to our next stay!"
