  • Perfect!

"Everything was just as in pictures, beautifully decorated and clean. Very convenient to public transportation and good restaurants down the street in the neighborhood. Cannot wait to come back!"

  • Convenient Location

"Chris, The owner, was very helpful and always responded quickly. I was impressed by the roominess of the house and the location which was close to all the sightseeing places that we wanted to visit. Parking was the most difficult. I had a 15 passenger van and there was no parking allowed in the neighborhood without a zone 2 pass. (I received a parking ticket which Chris graciously refunded for me. ) Also parking downtown was difficult because of the oversized vehicle. The picture online showed a play house with a slide in the backyard and that is no longer there. There were some balls for the kids to play with and they really enjoyed the hot tub. There are two bedrooms on the main floor where the kitchen and living room are and that was really nice for my 83-year-old dad who can't do stairs and my adult daughter with her baby. The upstairs bathroom had a slanted ceiling and it was difficult to go to the bathroom and stand up to pull up your pants without hitting your head. There is no microwave to heat things up quickly. And because we were staying there for four nights and almost 5 days we had to buy quite a lot of food because there were no condiments or spices except for salt and pepper. The last thing that was kind of a bother was that our ice cream would not stay frozen in the freezer. Chris said he would look into it after we left but that was a bummer that our ice cream turned to soup while we were there. The chicken and the blueberries and ice all stayed frozen but I think because of the high sugar content the ice cream just was soupy. It was also nice that my dad had his own TV in his bedroom so that he could watch sports while the kids watched Disney Channel out in the living room. I was also able to take advantage of the washer and dryer down in the basement as we had a large family and an infant staying with us. It took a day or so to figure out that we could actually set the dishwasher to "on" before you shut it instead of using a knife, because the controls were underneath the counter. It also took me a day to figure out how to run the coffee pot and make sure the spout was facing to the rear to push the lever so I didn't leak. My kids felt like the pictures in the house were a little disturbing particularly one of a naked woman, which I removed while we were there, and a man eating a child's airplane. The good news it was very comfortable and roomy and everything we wanted to see was only 15 minutes away."

  • Great location

"This condo is perfect for 4 people. It's completely renovated and had everything you need. Beds are comfortable although I would suggest investing in better pillows. Location is excellent. I will warn anyone who is staying that the only real downside is the parking. There is no designated parking and we had to park a block away but overall you can't do much better in the city."

  • A perfect location!

"We were in Seattle for a medical procedure. We stayed here because it was close to Swedish, but we will be back when we can spend time having fun! It is within 3 blocks of Broadway and it would be fun to see more of the city. Not much in the way of TV channels, but when you're on vacation, who needs TV? It is an upstairs apartment, so there are stairs -- just as a heads up!"
