  • The Turret House was perfect for our vacation!

"The Turret House was a great location and close to the bus routes. It was so clean and quiet. William was very responsive to all our inquiries and needs, When our flight got cancelled due to a major Southwest computer glitch, he was accommodating and went out of his way to help us. If we ever get back out to Seattle, we will stay here again and will definitely recommend to others!"

  • Comfortable, spacious and convenient!

"We came as a family of 3 staying here for 6 nights and it was a wonderful experience. With a 6-year-old young child, the unit is spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything we need as a family (especially love the super efficient nice washer and dryer that made our family travel so much easier, only wish the laundry basket could be a little more sturdy :)). The description and photos of the listing are accurate. The interior is well-appointed with eye-pleasing neutral modern tone. We arrived after midnight due to flight delayed and we couldn't access the unit because the access code wasn't working. We had to check into a hotel because it was nearly 2 am. We never had experience like this so we were a little disappointed and wondered how quick the owner could respond. Out of our relief, Ian promptly responded the next early morning when we were still in bed at hotel. He was very apologetic and kindly explained and took care of everything in no time. We were impressed by how he took care of this isolated incident with good sense of responsibility, efficiency and hospitality. The onsite parking with a little extra $10 per day really worth it, would recommend it as street parking is hard to find. One more thing, don't miss kayaking, Museum of Flight (reserve at least 3 hours) and Gates Foundation. And if you are chocoholic like us, don't ever miss "Hot Cakes molten chocolate cakery" (a location close by the apartment). Everything is heavenly yummy! Overall, the great location, spacious homey comforts (have I mentioned how quiet it is at night! ) and a responsible attentive friendly owner make this apartment a true stellar! Highly recommend!"

  • Beautiful Home With A Spectacular View!

"We had booked another location on VRBO in the University District which turned out to be filthy and we were in desperate need to find another location quickly. The owner responded immediately and fortunately for us her beautiful home was available. The home is very well decorated, has a beautiful kitchen, nice outside spaces, AC, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The owner lives in the space below this upper level so it is very convenient if you need anything extra. It is located close to I-5 and looks well over the interstate to give you beautiful views of Lake Union and Downtown Seattle. Perfect!"

  • Million Dollar View!

"Overview This place is amazing, we loved it. It’s in a very nice part of Capitol Hill with a mix of some stately older homes and newer condos. Be aware it is in a very hilly part of town. This unit is part of a triplex and is the main floor. Angela, the owner, lives and works in the unit behind and there is a penthouse unit above. It has wonderful views of Lake Union and all of the activities going on there. It its beautifully furnished, decorated with original art pieces and has a nicely-appointed kitchen. We found it to be spacious and comfortable for our month-long stay in July. Angela is a very welcoming and accommodating hostess. We would be glad to stay again! Details The Living room is spacious and opens into a large dining room. There are full-wall windows, 360º overlooking the lake. You can see downtown, Queen Anne Hill, and the Space Needle. A small air conditioning unit cools the front when the sun shines in. (It actually hit 90 degrees while we were there, so we were glad for that!) The dining room table is very large and served as my workspace while we were there. The WIFI worked great. The kitchen is large and fully equipped: electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, microwave oven, coffeepot and every kitchen gadget, pot and pan you could ever need. If you can’t find it, just ask Angela. Sound The I-5 runs in front of the house but was not a problem for us. The front windows serve to deaden much of the noise. I worked every day with the bedroom window and patio door open, and we slept with the bedroom window open with no issues. Until you actually step outside, it’s not very loud and was more of a white noise than anything else. If there are neighbors in the penthouse above, you may hear the occasional footfall but such is life in the city. Little Things The laundry is in the basement with everything you need. There are lots of shelves and cubbies to stash your things, and two extra closets. Housekeepers came during our stay and did a fabulous job. Angela is a caring, attentive host (without being the slightest bit intrusive). Her welcoming, positive demeanor and joyful laugh are what we will remember most about our stay in Seattle. She’s not just a wonderful host – she’s a wonderful person. We should all have such a neighbor! If you don’t enjoy your stay in this beautiful home, then you’re doing something wrong."
