  • Perfect Location

"This was the perfect apartment for our visit to Seattle. Clean, bright, and perfectly located for our extended weekend visit."

  • Overall great stay.Good location. Downside Parking spot extremely small.

"We enjoyed our location to all the attractions and the apartment. We were able to walk or take the lite rail where ever we needed to go. The apartment was comfortable. There are a few things that need to be attended to for example, when we arrived the refridgerator wasn't working well so a small dorm fridge was put into the kitchen. Our person who let us in couldn't find the complimentary wine or soda like it states in the book, in the apartment. While she looked in a closet the sliding door came off the hinges. The parking spot was extremely small especially since it is next to a cement column."

  • Great location, wonderfully responsive owners, amazingly comfortable

"When we retired, our goal was to travel for two years, using VRBO in multiple cities around the country. Our plans were cut short by two months because of aging parents in Minnesota who needed some help. One of the places we didn't get to go, but intended to, was Seattle. Now, we've made it! While there are numerous places to rent in this city, this was the only one that met absolutely all our criteria, not the least of which was the amazing location right on Alaskan Way across from the aquarium, the Great Wheel, the piers, and the cruise ship terminal. The incredible bonus - right under Pike Place Market with elevator access straight into the market from a parking garage less than a block away. The front desk manager was most welcoming and was very helpful in our receiving mail and packages while there (if you need to get mail or packages, the owner will tell you how they must be addressed). The condo itself was very comfortable and was sparkling clean. The air conditioner in the living room did a commendable job and the owner installed a bedroom air conditioner while we were there. Happy, happy, happy. The living room faces the water with amazing views of Puget Sound. Sadly, when we were there, there was scaffolding outside the windows as the building exterior was undergoing renovation. That will go away soon - and it only partially blocked our view. LOVE being able to sit on the sofa watching the ferries go back and forth, not to mention the huge cargo ships that lumber by. The kitchen is nicely laid out. The stove was amazing. There is plenty of cupboard space for whatever supplies you might bring. Most essentials are already present courtesy of the owner and/or previous guests leaving non-perishables as they depart. The shower is huge with both a wall-mount/handheld head and a rain shower overhead. The vanity area has two sinks, which is great when two of you need to get ready at the same time. Underground parking with steel grate roll-up doors that are remote controlled keep your car safe and dry. And, the people who live in the building that you meet coming and going are all friendly and personable. One of the nicest features was the inclusion of a full size stacking washer and dryer. Not many units do that anymore. During the course of our stay, we had one or two minor needs that were attended to by the owners immediately. Would we stay in this condo again when visiting Seattle? In a heartbeat!!"

  • Downtown location, beautifuls views, but...

"A welcome snack and beverage basket was waiting for us upon arrival. It was very appreciated to have soap and hair washing products available in the shower; less to carry in your suitcase. The unit was clean, but showing some wear, likely because of its status as a popular rental. This location was within easy walking distance of major attractions and the waterfront with spectacular views of Puget Sound. There is a small grocer just outside the main entrance to the building for easy purchase of basic breakfast and snack items and a great bakery nearby too. The condo would comfortably fit four adults. Even though a sleeper sofa is provided I would think it cramped to have more people in this unit as the couch only seats 3 and the dining table only seats four. This location is in a millennial centric area of Seattle with popular alfresco dining spots right below your condo and you are also at a traffic light intersection so it is VERY NOISY on weekend nights, even with the windows closed. It is pleasant to take advantage of the cool air off the Puget Sound by leaving your windows and doors open but difficult to sleep if you have a warm night and need the cooler air. As noted in the amenities, there are portable air conditioners available. If the Seattle temps creep into the mid 80s this condo gets very warm. The portable AC units are very loud and do not quite master the job of cooling down the unit. I highly suggest room darkening shades to help reduce the heat from the sun and to reduce the ambient light in the bedrooms, especially during the longer daylight hours in the summer. All in all a nice stay at this condo."
