  • Gorgeous 1-bedroom slopeside condo, quality finishes throughout!

"We stayed at this SilverCreek condo a few weeks ago... my husband and I, plus our college age daughter and her friend. the pullout couch is comfortable and the bedroom is very large, plenty of storage. The bathroom is big, with quality finishes. Loved having the washer/dryer in unit! The kitchen has everything we needed... microwave, crock pot, stove, coffee pot, corkscrew (essential!), pots and pans etc. the indoor/outdoor pool and spa was great to have in building, as was the ski rental shop and ski pass-purchasing. Tubing hill is steps from the door, as is the secondary ski slopes for Snowshoe. Silver Creek is a mile or 2 from the main Snowshoe ski area, which the owner is very forthright in explaining. The SilverCreek area has the only night-skiing in the area, and the only tubing. The skiing and tubing are both steps away. The skiing is 5-6 runs. it was good for us, as we've not skiied in a few years, and it was good to get our 'ski-legs' back. however, by the end of the day, we were bored, and were very excited to get to the main area. it was very easy to take a shuttle there and back. no problems at all. overall, would definitely recommend the property and would definitely consider returning."

  • Awesome, fully-stocked Summer getaway!

"Some friends and I rented out the condo this summer and it was everything we expected it to be. Although a bit small, the condo was clean and comfortable. We were able to go hiking on nearby trails and tubing on a lake that was close as well. Kitchen was stocked beyond my expectations which was great because we were able to cook/eat like kings. Overall, I am pleased with the experience we had at Silver Creek. My friends and I are already planning to go back this winter."

  • Great weekend trip on the slopes

"With great sunset and wildlife views you cannot beat this property for the money. A short (one long staircase and about 50 yards) walk to the slopes and village and you are right in the thick of the Snowshoe experience. I rented this spot for myself, my wife, my 2 year old son, and another couple. There was plenty of sleeping space. The property itself is a touch dated (as is the entire Summit complex) and provides a no frills place to rest after a long day of outdoor adventures. The condo itself was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook tacos and pizzas. There were games and movies stocked and ready to provide some downtime entertainment. Out on the deck, watching the deer graze with the sun setting behind the West Virginia mountains was magical; the perfect backdrop for your "apres ski" cocktail. The homeowner, Rusty, and the building manager, Jim, were great to work with and provided numbers to reach them with any issues. This was a great rental for the price. If you are looking for granite countertops, heated floors, updated appliances, an ice maker, etc... you should look elsewhere and be prepared to pay a premium. Snowshoe has the best ski/snowboard experience in the region. If you need a cheap, clean, close place to stay, you won't be disappointed in 105B."
