  • Great little rental!

"Decided to take a last minute weekend trip up to Snowshoe; found this rental and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The price couldn't be beat, so I would have been satisfied with very little, but this place exceeded our expectations! It was very, very clean, beds were comfortable, and it was just a short drive up to the resort. The wi-fi signal was choppy, which normally wouldn't be a big deal (we go on vacation to get away from it all, right??) However, my husband had a little work to do, and the signal kept dropping. Frustrating, but not enough to prevent us from staying there again. Also, they were pet friendly, which is so hard to find these days! (Future renters with pets, please be responsible so we can continue to rent this place with our dog!!) It's small, but cozy!"

  • Great weekend trip on the slopes

"With great sunset and wildlife views you cannot beat this property for the money. A short (one long staircase and about 50 yards) walk to the slopes and village and you are right in the thick of the Snowshoe experience. I rented this spot for myself, my wife, my 2 year old son, and another couple. There was plenty of sleeping space. The property itself is a touch dated (as is the entire Summit complex) and provides a no frills place to rest after a long day of outdoor adventures. The condo itself was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook tacos and pizzas. There were games and movies stocked and ready to provide some downtime entertainment. Out on the deck, watching the deer graze with the sun setting behind the West Virginia mountains was magical; the perfect backdrop for your "apres ski" cocktail. The homeowner, Rusty, and the building manager, Jim, were great to work with and provided numbers to reach them with any issues. This was a great rental for the price. If you are looking for granite countertops, heated floors, updated appliances, an ice maker, etc... you should look elsewhere and be prepared to pay a premium. Snowshoe has the best ski/snowboard experience in the region. If you need a cheap, clean, close place to stay, you won't be disappointed in 105B."

  • Wonderful place to stay.

"The studio was perfect for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location on the first floor is a plus as you don't always have to take the elevator. The weekend we were there, silver creek was fully booked so we were unable to get into our room until 6:30 pm. Silver Creek doesn't have enough cleaning staff so something to be aware of on busy weekends. Otherwise, would highly recommend this property."

  • Summer Stay

"My son and I went up for the GNCC race. The condo was cozy, clean, fully stocked, and well maintained. Mountain Lodge is on the edge of the village with easy access to the restaurants and shops. The Mountain Lodge staff was very polite, helpful, and the best at Snowshoe. Booking through VRBO, was much easier than going through Snowshoe rentals!!! We were able to sign in and pickup the key from the Mountain Lodge desk, without waiting in a long check in line at Top of the World, only to turn around and drive back to Mountain Lodge. Thank you very much for the use of your condo!"
