This is a unique private cottage tucked within a gated 15 acre estate in the foothills near Carpinteria. It is surrounded by gorgeous gardens and 20,000 fragrant rose bushes which are part of a working rose farm (one of only two in the USA). The cottage itself was built at the turn of the last century. Full of old world charm, but with modern amenities, the cottage has one bedroom, an additional sleeping alcove with double bed, and one bathroom.

The spacious master suite has a cozy sitting area (including TV and entertainment center). In addition, there is a 'sleeping room' with a double bed sleeping 1 or a cozy 2. A large newly remodeled bathroom has a claw foot bathtub for soaking and a full shower. Private patio with wall fountain can be seen through the bay window. It features a full kitchen and large great room with adjoining private patio and barbecue area. Laundry and small adjoining study complete this 1800 square foot picture book cottage. There is great light throughout. The cottage has views of a small pond in the foreground of acres of rose fields.

The cottage comes stocked with continental breakfast and snack food items, coffees, teas, fresh farm produce, as well as beautiful bouquets of our fragrant European roses.   • wait for the sun to rise over the rose beds and for the black and tan kitty to sit on your step..then find your very own 'rose bed' perfectly made with lots of soft pillows and warm coverlets. Make sure to look for the black phoebe who absolutely "owns the yard by the pond". the cottage is a small wonder and has all the amenities that you would expect at a normal and 'WAY BORING'hotel. stay and smell the farm and feel the earth. You, intrepid souls could NEVER find a more perfect spot than Rose Story Farm...be there.we will be back for FOREVER. really! you simply CANNOT miss this perfect hideaway.
