This is a unique private cottage tucked within a gated 15 acre estate in the foothills near Carpinteria. It is surrounded by gorgeous gardens and 20,000 fragrant rose bushes which are part of a working rose farm (one of only two in the USA). The cottage itself was built at the turn of the last century. Full of old world charm, but with modern amenities, the cottage has one queen bedrooms and one bathroom.
The spacious master suite has a cozy sitting area (including TV and entertainment center). A large newly remodeled bathroom has a claw foot bathtub for soaking and a full shower. Private patio with wall fountain can be seen through the bay window. It features a full kitchen and large great room with adjoining private patio and barbecue area. Laundry and small adjoining study complete this 2000 square foot picture book cottage. There is great light throughout. The cottage has views of a small pond in the foreground of acres of rose fields.
The cottage comes stocked with continental breakfast and snack food items, coffees, teas, fresh farm produce, as well as beautiful bouquets of our fragrant European roses. Nearby is a 75 by 15 foot formal lap pool with a large attached jetted spa. This is a truly romantic venue for people who value serenity and privacy.
