A Peaceful Sanctuary is a beautiful 1928 renovated farmhouse located on a acre of land, nestled in an old walnut grove. We are located 1 mile off I-5 exit 195A. We are perfect for business meetings, vacations, Duck Games, Graduations, romantic getaways and as an extended stay.
Much of the house is decorated by local artist work. Some available to purchase. The home with two bedrooms for rent, is a short 10 minute drive to downtown Eugene, Autzen Stadium, The Hult Center and 5 min walk to the new Riverbend Hospital. The shuttle bus to Duck games is a 5 minute walk. We are 1 mile from the mall, theaters, post office and many restaurants. The beautiful McKenzie River is only a 5 minute walk with river access. We are an hour drive to the coast and to the mountains.
House rental is $100/night plus 9.5% hotel tax and cleaning fee. Cleaning fee $50.00. Also due to lowering our rates from $190.00 to $100.00 per night we are unable to absorb the paypal fee. The 3% paypal fees plus a 2% processing fee will be added on to your invoice. As us how you can avoid the fees.
No meals will be prepared for you but feel free to go in the hen house, get your own eggs and make your own omelet.
Come treat yourself to sleeping on 600 thread cotton sheets and new top of the line queen sized beds, one beds a pillow top and the other firm. Each bedrroom has a 19" flat screen TV with Comcast On Demand with 100's of free movies and channels, plus air conditioning. Home office is included for your convenience with computer and high speed internet, wireless and fax. Free long distance in the continental US.
Services for a fee. You can reserve time for a massage or energy work while you are here. These wonderful healers will come to you, no need to travel.
Enjoy breakfast in our garden, as the chickens scratch around the yard. We have 14 hens, 14 baby chicks, and a rooster.

Regular Rates $100/night & hotel tax (2 night min rental for Weekends)
$200.00 refundable damage deposit. Deposit is refunded same day you leave.
Deposit is not refundable if cancellation is 2 weeks prior to reservation
Since we have recently lowered our rates from $190.00 per night to 100.00
we are no longer able to absorb the paypal fees.
3% paypal fees plus 2% processing fee will be added to your invoice if

It is my intention in opening my place for rent to offer comfort to folks creating a peaceful sanctuary. Life is so challenging for many especially now. It is my way of creating a business that is green, brings peace to people and gives back to the community in the way of healers giving massages.
Why the Owner Chose Eugene
The reason I chose to buy my house in this location was because of the beautiful land, views and very quaint, homey house. It was a happy home with 11 children being raised here and you can tell there was a lot of love here. We are a mile off I-5 and 10 minute drive to downtown Eugene. The feel of out in the country but close to everything.
The Unique Benefits of this 1928 Restored Farmhouse
We are nestled in an old Walnut grove with very old vegetation and flowers so it's very secluded and private for being in the city. You can relax and have your massage in the wild flower garden. There are hummingbirds that feed daily and live here year round feed. The birds feed off feeders just a few feet from house. We are a 5 minute walk from the beautiful McKenzie River and there is River access. Anything else you can think of to make your stay more enjoyable please let us know and we will see if we can make it happen for you. It's all about your comfort.
