We traveled to the North Shore to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary with my parents and our 15 month old son. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We'd recommend staying at this house to anyone. We enjoyed counting all the whale breaches and pointed out any turtle from the wonderful and spacious deck. My family and I never left the North Shore until it was time to go to the airport. Would love to stay at your home again Roy. Thanks for opening up your rental home to us.

Totally relaxing, especially on the hammock between the two coconut trees... everyone falls asleep in it! Outside shower is such a blessing after swimming several times a day and lounging in the patio with our glass of wine and "pupus". Great idea to have an open outdoor patio with table and chairs. Perfect spot to spend every moment. Very quiet and sweet neighbors. Biking was fun around the neighborhood - thanks Roy for providing so many bikes! The rooms are great and loved looking at your pictures on the wall too. So many fish while snorkeling... and the turtles come up to us while snorkeling! Some people were catching fish along shore too. We caught sand crabs at night with the kids (FUN!!!) and there are also "sand turtles" that are found in the shoreline but are not turtles.... loved hearing the waves and seeing shooting stars at night. On the right side of the beach, you can find small tidal pools and small fish for the kids to catch - even by hand! Haleiwa town is close by for food and more fun, but we chose to stay at Hale Malolo most of the time. VERY clean. Loved the plumeria and other plants in the yard. You will want to rent a car to do sightseeing on this beautiful island. Paradise compared to Waikiki. Description is very accurate. Mahalo Roy! We will be back! And will recommend to many more!

Aloha, If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place, this is it! Nothing but the sounds of the surf just outside your door. Upon arrival, we were initially concerned that there was no air conditioning in the house, but later found out that it wasn't really needed as there was always a nice breeze, and ceiling fans in each room. If you plan to do any amount of sight-seeing or adventurous activities, I recommend a rental car. Waikiki and Pearl Harbor are 45 minutes to drive. We did a "circle island" tour in one day, with directions provided by the host, and had a great time. There's plenty of gear (sea kayaks, snorkeling, surf/boogie boards, etc.) provided by the owner to enjoy yourself there at the property. No need to stray too far to some crowded beach when you have an almost private beach just outside your back door. Internet service and a good TV channel lineup are also available, if needed. The property was very well maintained, with a nice deck overlooking the beach. There are a couple of friendly sea turtles that swim near the property and pop their heads up to say Hi occasionally. Our neighbor told us that whales can be seen off the shore during winter months. We couldn't have asked for a more helpful host. He provided us with great information about the island and things to do. If we ever get the opportunity to return to Oahu, we'd definitely stay here again. Mahalo Roy!

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and we can't wait to be able to come back!! It was everything we thought it would be and more. :D It truly is the best backyard in the world! Loved the neighborhood and all of the quiet, gorgeous, practically deserted beaches! Perfect for people that want to get away from everything and just relax. LOVE the deck! ;) thank you and we WILL be coming back - soon I hope! ;D

This beach house is a magical spot with everything we were looking for in Hawaii--miles of sandy beaches to comb, turtles feeding in front, whales breaching beyond the reef and great swimming for our kids. The house is beautifully remodeled with everything you could want even down to an ice maker that really works. Could not recommend this home more highly. Our family will be back.
