The only private home right ON La Ropa Beach
You can be the first ones on the beach for the morning walk, watching the gulls and pelicans as they search for breakfast, and the fishermen as they head out to search for your dinner. This lovely home is the only private home right ON the beach at La Ropa, which has been called the most beautiful white sand beach on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
The master bedroom with its own bath is on the front facing the beach and the bay and has double doors that open right on to your terrace. There are two other bedrooms, each with a bathroom, one with a king size bed and the other with twins that have pullouts to make 4 singles. All the bedrooms are air conditioned. There is also an interior TV and game room, which can also be closed and air conditioned when the tropics become a little too tropical.
The main living area is an airy space within a large palapa (palm frond roof) where you can while away the afternoon after your solar energy is drained from the fishing, swimming, kayaking or just walking the mile long beach in front of the house. The dining area is just off the kitchen and is located where you can eat your dinner watching the night lights of the boats bobbing off shore or the city lights off in the distance.
Our new swimming pool is made of local river rock and is long for swimming laps but wide enough so that the children or other guests can share the pool while you swim your laps. At the far end of the pool is a large palapa pool house, with its own bathroom and a wet bar for keeping the throats wet while the bodies sink into the cool water of the pool.
The property is all walled and gated and our live-in caretakers who take excellent care of our guests are Eva and Luis, who have their own small cottage just off on the side of the property so are at your 'beck and call' at all times. Eva is a great cook and will make you breakfast (if you buy the groceries) and will also cook meals at an additional price of US $35 plus groceries. The two of them will spoil you completely and will make you want to return just to be with them. Lest we not forget Victor, our gardener, who will treat you to a fresh coconut from one of our many sun dappled palms on the property.
