This private and spacious 4 bedroom home is a short walk to the beautiful pristine beaches of Carlsbad, famous for it's surf. You will enjoy the benefits of living by the ocean while also being conveniently close to great shopping, dining and family friendly venues. As you walk in the front entry doors you will immediately notice the large beautiful windows that allow the house to be filled with bright California sunshine. The whitewashed "wood plank" tile flooring throughout adds to the beauty and warmth.
The cozy and inviting living room is done in beautiful relaxing shades of sea blue. There is a gas-burning stone fireplace to warm you on cool nights. The dining room seats six on “tommy bahama” style wicker chairs under a stunning bronze chandelier, with extra seating available. The charming kitchen with it's black cherry cabinets is fully appointed with every possible gadget and appliance...a gourmet's delight! The adjoining family room with two huge comfortable sofa's and another stone fireplace is a wonderful space to gather for games or watch movies together.
Upstairs are the four bedrooms, each with it's own flat screen television for your personal enjoyment. The very spacious Master Bedroom, in soft neutral shades and walls adorned with muted beach scenes, has a queen size four poster bed. The On Suite is your private retreat, where after a long day at the beach or sightseeing, you can take a relaxing bath in the authentic claw foot tub.
The airy second bedroom, hosts a lovely starfish collection on the wall over the Queen Size bed. Lovely bedding in white, brown and sea blue, and the ocean breeze coming thru your large window, reminds you that you are only steps to the beautiful Pacific!
The third bedroom is decorated in blue and tan and has a large California King Size bed and a beautiful large armoire. The fourth room can either be used as an upstairs lounge to enjoy a glass of wine, a cup of tea/coffee or a bowl of popcorn, as it has the special amenities of a refrigerator and microwave, or the sofa bed can be opened to comfortably sleep two.
This amazing home has a private enclosed backyard with mature and colorful landscaping. There are tables and chairs for outdoor entertaining along with a gas barbeque. The fire pit is wonderful for relaxing under the stars or roasting marshmallows with the kids.
You will enjoy the bountiful supply of boogie boards, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and coolers and the outdoor shower.
A 5 minute drive and you are in the heart of Carlsbad Village where you will find quaint shops and excellent restaurants. Lego Land is just 5 minutes in another direction. Local Golf includes La Costa, Aviara and Torrey Pines. Come and experience the joy of this perfect vacation home!
