"Paso Roble" pronounced Pa-Soe Robe-lay is a circa 1920's stone tudor style home nestled on over 2 acres only minutes from Downtown Fort Worth. The home was built out of fieldstone and petrified wood found on the property back in the 1920's. Although this home was originally built in the 1920's it's been completely remodeled and offers all of the conveniences and upgrades of a new custom home.
"Paso Roble" is a quaint and updated 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home and features a tasteful mix of vintage, rustic and modern decor and furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essentials you will need to prepare and serve meals and features open style cabinetry, granite countertops and farmhouse touches. Enjoy your meals indoors or on the veranda while taking in the views of the 100 year old oak trees. This is our favorite spot to relax and watch the deer from at dusk. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows and staying warm on a cool night.
The spacious and comfortable living room is accented with a flagstone wood burning fireplace and includes a large 52" tv and a dvd player. The bedrooms are roomy and have ceiling fans for added comfort. A second TV is located in one of the bedrooms. All linens and bedding are provided.

The home is located 17 miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth, Sundance Square, the Museum District, Will Rogers Coliseum and The Fort Worth Stockyards.Grocery stores and restaurants are in town and only a few minutes away. It's an easy commute to other cities and attractions like Arlington's entertainment district and Texas Motor Speedway. It is a 15 minute drive to the town of Weatherford (great historic downtown area with antique shops and restaurants-click on the tour link below for pictures).
Local Attractions:
• Drive approximately 2-3 miles to picnic areas, beach area with public swimming, boat ramp and dining at Eagle mountain Lake.

The Unique Benefits of this House
We've been told by previous guest that the setting reminds them of the hill country. We enjoy watching the deer come out at dusk and we like proximity to the lakes. Where else can you go in town but still see deer grazing right in front of you?
