My husband and I stayed here for a month. The apartment is perfect and the views are fantastic. Can't think of a better place to stay in Vieques. Would rent again. The owner is helpful and friendly. Bring a pair of binoculars to further enhance the beautiful views from the expansive deck/patio.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I honeymooned here the last week of April 2010 and had a wonderful time. The apartment is very fun, very spacious and the accommodations are nice. It was quite hot while we were there and even with 2 fans and the windows open it was still very, very warm, but hey, its a Caribbean island! The views are amazing and the owners friendly. The only drawback for us were the rosters that crowed all morning and all day. And there are some neighborhood dogs that bark a bit at times. But the noise aside, the place is great, Vieques is great, playa plata is amazing!! And the bio bay is a must must must. Get in the water no matter what, you won't regret it, or staying here. Oh, and go to Bananas in Esperanza and get a banana colada! Would be good to go back with another couple, very fun!

My son and I stayed here the first week of March 2010 and had an awesome time! The apartment is great! Sits high up on a hill - great views, private, centrally located, very clean, very spacious, very comfortable beds, awesome patio area and breezy. Big pasture with horses across the street. Barry - owner was very nice and accommodating to our schedule. Highly recommend. Perfect for two couples - bedrooms are very separated. Also recommend horseback riding with Elizabeth at Island Adventures and snorkeling and bio bay kayak with Abes Snorkeling. Red Beach was absolutely gorgeous!! Hope to return back there some day with friends.

Stayed in January, 2010. Perfect for two couples. The patio is awesome, great views, nice breezes. Nice spacious apartment. Would definitely recommend. Great value for what you get!

Well,there definitely is truth in advertising in this listing. Rain-freshened breezes blow across the strait from the rainclouds visible over El Yunque. The views from the porches are captivating. Quite a diversity of birds were attracted to the owner's garden below. Horses canter in the pasture below. Very private, beautifully decorated with every amenity.
