  Exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, gorgeous Southern charm location with undeniable relaxed, vacation feel! I felt like we were staying in a home that should be featured in Southern Living magazine, if it hasn't been already. Dale was extremely helpful in advance. PERFECT!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

  I had read all the reviews, looked at all the pictures, read articles on other sites, so I had high expectations. They were exceeded. We couldn't get over all of the cute, cozy, classy chic decor. I had to twist Dale's arm to let the 3 of us stay there, as it really is best suited for only 2 guests. I mailed a twin air mattress out early which worked perfectly for the 3 of us, all sisters. The adorable decor made up for the lack of space. Unfortunately, since we were visiting an elderly aunt in Montgomery & needed to spend most of our time with her, cooking there wasn't an option for us, but, being a chef, I wanted to so badly. Great kitchen with everything you might need. We cruised around the rest of the property which was filled with "Southern Living magazine cover" homes, pelicans, egrets, trees dripping with Spanish moss, lakes, and just plain Southern charm. A beautiful place I will never forget! Thanks for answering all of my questions prior to arrival, Dale, and so sorry I didn't get to meet you & Rita! Ginny

  I cannot say enough about this place. I was nervous about renting from vrbo. My one other experience left a bit to be desired. I am a total germaphobe and always clean the places we stay as soon as we arrive. This is the only place I have ever not cleaned. I wanted to just stay and never leave. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend. We did fish thanks to Dale getting us fishing passes for the weekend. He was also very helpful and available by email when I had questions. The loft had everything we needed and wanted. The loft is about 15-20 minutes from the center of town. Absolutely not too far out in my opinion. It is an easy hop on I85. I cannot wait to stay at the loft again. I will be back - often, I hope.

  It was a little further away than we originally wanted, but we really love the idea of vacation rentals and have chosen some really great places in lots of big cities. Let me tell you...the pictures don't do this place justice. The pictures show a cute interior, but the place has an immaculate interior and the attention to detail is fabulous. It was exceptionally clean from the sink in the kitchen to the tiles in the bathroom. The owners really thought about everything. There's plenty of storage for suitcases and clothes for long stays. My boyfriend and I are joggers and decided to take a run in the mornings and the path around the outside of the community in total is probably about 1.5 miles. Since my boyfriend and I were there for a college football game, we paid particular attention to all the school flags in the yards. Anyone who was out while we ran by were friendly. We even made it known that we were fans of the team opposing Auburn that weekend and the owners were gracious and accepting. We will definitely be back!!!

  This accommodation is everything any 2 people could possibly want. It is conveniently located for golf and tourist activities. The owner is a great resource of all things in the area, and the loft itself is exquisitly decorated and comfortable in the extreme. We highly recommend it.

  My fiancé and I spent 4 weeks in this loft & enjoyed every day there. If you are looking for a "home away from home", this place is a must. The loft is located in a small community where everyone drives around in golf carts. The community has a nice restaurant located by a beach and pool. If you like to play tennis, they have plenty of courts available. The loft is gorgeous, and has plenty of admenties, and the owners try to make your stay comfortable. We definitely look forward to staying in the loft again.

  My Husband and I stayed at The Loft while I attended week-long training at Troy University. After long days in class, coming back to The Loft was truly like coming home...only better! The queen-size bed was so comfortable; the shower was spacious; the kitchen had everything you could ask for; and having a washer/dryer within The Loft was so convenient. Truly an excellent choice!

  What a GREAT place to spend our 29th wedding anniversary!!! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with top of the line cookware as well as dishes and sharp knives. The Keurig was an added pleasure. The bathroom and bedroom had wonderful linens and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were wonderful and very friendly. They offered to meet any need we had (we did not have any). The peaceful surroundings made for a great place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the world and just enjoy each other for a few days. The golf cart was an added bonus. The people of the Waters were very nice and friendly. The Wishbone Cafe was nice as well. We will be back!!! We will tell everyone we know about this gem.

  What a wonderful place to honeymoon! This cozy apartment was a fabulous get-away during the first two nights of our honeymoon. We were welcomed by a chilled bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries, as well as romantic music and dimmed lights. The owners have done a fabulous job in providing everything one would need during your stay. My husband and I will definitely return even if it is only for a weekend get-away. This is the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together.
