My husband and I enjoyed our 10 days nestled in the mountains. Wonderful views of the sea and countryside. Our favorite was the pool area with all the beautiful plants, bushes and trees. Our apartment was very comfortable with a patio that was picturesque. Our feline visitors were another added plus. Ariana is a warm individual and enjoyed our conversations. We were sad to leave.

Wir hatten einen unfassbar schönen Urlaub. Ariana ist einfach toll, sie begrüßt einen so herzlich und gibt immer Tipps, wenn gewünscht. Der Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein, das haben wir sehr häufig genutzt. Ansonsten ist Kissamos und Umgebung wunderschön und man kann viel entdecken. Baden, Schnorcheln, am Strand liegen, was jeder mag. Einkaufen oder auch Essen gehen ist in Kissamos beides unkompliziert. Einige Tavernen an der Promenade sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wer die Ruhe und das griechische Flair erleben möchte, muss hier herkommen!!!Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!Anmerkung: waren zwei Wochen im Apartment

Beautiful location with an amazing pool. Arianna has crafted a comfortable and well considered place with lots of little touches - like the art all over the garden, soft beach and bath towels, and amazing garden. We very much enjoyed her hospitality, directing us to magical little places like Maria Beach, all very close by. We loved the fact that it is so peaceful but very close to the hum of the town. Thank you!

a perfect stay at Kissamos

We stayed 2 weeks in this apartment and had a wonderfull time. After a very warm welcome, the owner informed us during our stay about many locations to visit after she asked us what we are interested in. At this location are only 3 holiday apartments with a shared, very nice located swimming pool.We loved the location/area being a bit less touristic and showing us the more of the Crete way of living.Ariane, thank you very much for your hospitality these 2 weeks

Well deserved Holidays

We were looking for a place to spend a few days with the family in western Crete and after a long search we found this place. Ariana welcomed us very well and kindly despite our late arrival. Everything suited us and especially the wonderful terrace! The area is very quiet, secluded and surrounded by olive fields in the mountains. We had a great rest at Ariana Paradise.

Eine ruhige Oase mit viel Platz

Wir haben eine perfekte Woche bei Ariana verbracht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, man kann jedoch in der gut ausgestatteten Küche selbst kochen, doch wer will das schon in Griechenland? Belebte oder weniger touristische Strände sind in 5-30 Minuten erreichbar, es gibt Ausflugsmöglichkeiten für jeden Geschmack und jedes Bedürfnis. Die Wohnung ist grosszügig mit riesiger Terrasse und es fehlt an nichts. Das Highlight ist natürlich der gepflegte und saubere Pool hinter den Häusern, umgeben von schönen Pflanzen und bis Mitternacht romantisch beleuchtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Just awesome!

Heerlijk verblijf afgelopen 9 dagen. We verbleven in het apartment. Voor en achter fijn terras. Keuken goed uitgerust maar in juli/augustus bijna altijd te warm om echt te koken. Geen probleem want veel lekkere restaurants in de buurt. Comfortabele kamers met airco en lekkere bedden. Ariana is een top host!

Perfection!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Such a beautiful place and so relaxing however still plenty to do a short drive away. Ariana was an amazing host, so lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable about how to make the most of your holiday depending on what you are interested in. The apartment is great with comfortable beds and a decent shower. The balcony over looks the beautiful bay which is lovely in the evening. Pool is brilliant, our kids spent hours in it! Nice size and well maintained. Great selection of comfortable seating/sun loungers around it. Can whole heartedly recommend, we loved it and we will certainly be back.

Outstanding

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. Lovely patio area with a comfortable outside sofa and dining table and also a shaded area with another table at the front of the property which was perfect for breakfast. The pool area was stunning with superb views.The town is about a 5 minute drive with a really well equipped supermarket just at the bottom of the road. Perfect place to stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Ruhige Oase

Das Apartment war genau wie beschrieben und in den Bildern ersichtlich. Es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt und die Betten waren bequem. Besonders schön war, dass man auf der sehr großen Terrasse morgens und abends schön sitzen kann und auf´s Meer schauen kann. Da ein Teil überdacht ist kann man auch bei Regen dort sitzen. Die Anlage selbst ist ein Traum, wunderschöne Pflanzen und ein super gepflegter Pool, es ist sehr entspannend einfach dort auch einen Tag zu verbringen. Ariana ist super nett und hilft mit Tipps gerne weiter. Das Apartment ist etwas in den Hügeln und uns war es zu weit und heiß runter ins Ort zu laufen aber mit dem Auto sind es 5 Minuten nach Kissamos wo es sehr viele Restaurants gibt...und ansonsten ist das auch eine gute Lage um die Nord/West und Südwest Küste Kretas zu erkunden! Beim nächsten Kreta Urlaub werde ich die Unterkunft wieder buchen!

Top property close to great town and activities

We had a wonderful time. The location is just outside Kissamos so you can enjoy the country side, and a peaceful see view from the lovely terrasse (where you can also enjoy your dinner). The swimming pool is great and the kids loved it! You are also close to town to enjoy a nice restaurant on the see front and come back easily. In terms of activities, Kissamos is just the perfect location. Many tour companies offer great activities and you can easily go to beautiful beaches nearby. On top of it, Arianna (the host) gives you great tips (beaches that are not on tourists books…). A perfect place to relax and discover/enjoy Crete.

Wohlfühloase zwischen Bergen und Meer

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche bei Ariana in Kissamos. Ein super Appartement. Groß, sehr schön eingerichtet, die Küche bestens ausgestattet, eine riesigen Dachterasse mit Blick auf die darunterliegende Stadt Kissamos, das nahe Meer und die umliegenden Berge.Der dazugehörige Swimmingpool (wird mit zwei anderen Mietparteien geteilt) ist traumhaft gelegen, gepflegt und von Olivenbäumen und anderer Vegatation umgeben und wirklich ein paradiesisches Örtchen um einen ereignisreichen Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Viele tolle Ausflugsziele u.a. auch die tollen Strände, sind von hier aus gut zu erreichen. Unsere Gastgeberin Ariana war sehr herzlich, hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben, dabei stets hilfsbereit, immer symphatisch und herrlich entspannt. Wir kommen sehr gerne einmal wieder.

Ariana is originally from Holland and lived in Luxembourg for several years before she came to Crete. She has a degree in Health Sciences from the University of Maastricht. She loves gardening, cooking and walking.
Because she speaks 6 languages she is a good host for guests from many different countries.

Ariana fell in love with the property many years ago. It was an old farm house with a stable and just some olive trees. A lot of work needed to be done before it became the little paradise that guests often call it. Ariana converted the former stable into a villa and rents out 2 more properties, an apartment and a studio. She loves the location because of it's peace and quiet but still close to the amenities in Kastelli. No noise of roads, just the cicadas and the birds......

この宿泊施設の特徴

Ariana immediately loved the unique location of it, so close to Kissamos but set in a natural environment. She spent two years on the restoration and the whole property is now set in a mature Mediterranean garden. The pool area has become a little oasis with all the exotic plants around it.

The location is perfect to explore the area. You can go for hikes from your doorstep or go to famous beaches like Balos and Elafonisi. The whole west of Crete is fantastic for drives, weather you're interested in nature or culture.
